Am just off out to do a few jobs. But got one little question. Why on earth are people feeding this conversation? Opinions have been made known so let it lie. And then get back to normal. Mr T & glitches etc...

Not a personal attack on you at all. I would say exactly the same to anyone who made the same initial comment as you did.

There is far too much sensitivity regarding lots of issues, including comments regarding perceived racism, where in reality, there was none.

I know its a long shot, but if anyone finds any correct barcode lindt and cadburys eggs today can they confirm if its off everywhere of if anyone is sucessfull today anywhere?

Im wondering if it will depend on how tesco 'remedy' the situation by..

1) removing the affected stock from the shelves (in which case some may get overlooked and we still have a chance if stuff if overlooked or put back out by mistake)

2) if previously 1p bar codes are consistantly scanning at full price (depending on if the amendment is done at store type level, or across the board)

How is everyone? It's a lovely sunny day on the south coast and very calm too.

Looks like I should have got my backside in gear a bit earlier yesterday for the Lindt and cadbury eggs. I'm guessing they probably did scan 1p in my store before it was all over the news. Just a bit worried now about the couple of reports of the SS tills freezing when buying them. Hope only the eggs causing it and not any other reason. Would be the end of all our fun and games, I have become quite the expert at times scanning finds through. Most in one go was 40 mini creme eggs in an Express and 30 Halloween Haribos at an Extra. Anyone beat this many 1p things at once?

Was hoping Boots 75% off was today, I know lots of reports it is always a wednesday but that has only been last few years, it has started other days in years gone by. I'm sure Boots keep us guessing so that we all stay up late and get up early for at least a week so that by the time it starts we are all too shattered to even get out of bed and go. I know I felt like that last year. But would not feel it's a proper New Year without going.

morning all, just offended a freind and it is all this forums fault.
she popped in after shopping with her husband who was sporting a bad black eye. I asked how he got it , Bl**dy trout he replies. Oh no says i,(talking before thinking a very bad habit of mine ) what did you do wrong i have never heard of a trout attacking anyone i am not going to your tescos. with that his wife got the hump told me not to take the mickey it was very painful, he did it fishing when a line broke and the fish hit him made excuses and left
i was thinking of phoning later but how can i explain that you mad lot have made me think of a trout as a awkward tesco staff not a fish and i was not taking the mickey...

Not sure if you saw my post yesterday but I know there was a report of it working in my extra store on grabbit on monday. I tried yesterday and they both scanned full price with correct barcodes. This was around 6pm. HTHs
