Arrggh i'm new to this forum and only posted once before. A few weeks ago I bought one of the £22 portable dvd players. Just went up to U&per B*at in Pont****dd and as they are extending the shop they had just put 3 of the 7" Tecknika portable dvd players out in silver with swivel heads and no SEL. I decided to try one and put it through SS with my other shopping and it went through as 50P!!!! Only problem was some trout came behind me to take the tag off and saw the price on the screen. She took it to customer service who refused to sell it to me so I took photos of the box and barcode and said I'd complain to head office!!

Has anyone got the right number to phone please?? And do I have a leg to stand on? They said it was new stock and had been marked wrong but I argued that the man on the box was the old style and being discontinued but they didn't care!!

yes its called beachy head, and yes she did jump. i live 3 miles away from there, and peolpe come from all over the country to jump off there.

we see the coastguard helicopter goimg over our house, and know its anither jumper.

Not really That was so unlucky. If it's your regular store just take it on the chin and stay under the radar.

:mad: Didn't go shopping as the train was going to 26 minutes late :mad: as we have a 2 hourly service - I wouldn't of had enough time to get everything done - couldn't catch a later train back as we're taking ancient cat to vets for his thyroid blood test In a way good as no Boots Sale & I have 28 days with which to return the faulty Kipling bag

So I went walkabout to Mr T's and got a few interesting bits & bobs

I didn't take the OP as a slur on Muslims, women or families who go en masse to whoopsie ... just a visual desription (no offence intended) of meyhem around the veggies ... which TBH sounds quite comical to me.

My brother recently had to go to China on business....and lets just say he is of a similar build to Happy Chappy (and I'm not being fattist here!!)
People were shouting and pointing at him in the street and gesturing to the size of his stomach and making the signs we would use to describe someone who's pregnant! Women actually prodded him and started laughing!!
Can you imagine what would happen if we did anything similar in this country!!!
Did my brother take offence?......No, he found it hilarious :rotfl::rotfl:

Im wondering if it will depend on how tesco 'remedy' the situation by..

1) removing the affected stock from the shelves (in which case some may get overlooked and we still have a chance if stuff if overlooked or put back out by mistake)

2) if previously 1p bar codes are consistantly scanning at full price (depending on if the amendment is done at store type level, or across the board)

More Pantene in the huge size 500mls - SEL £4.47 scans at 99p. I think these are old style bottle as newer ones have a clear lid
