Of course you can describe someone as wearing a burkha without being racist! Nothing wrong with that at all in my opinion. What a load of fuss and nonsense. Let common sense prevail.

    Yesterday's quiche was lovely.

In the end it was peas, sweetcorn, broccoli and feta cheese.

I think I saw another post about a whoopsie scrum involving a mobilty scooter ... again a description of an event and the individual involved ... not a comment on all people using mobility scooters.

I didn't take the OP as a slur on Muslims, women or families who go en masse to whoopsie ... just a visual desription (no offence intended) of meyhem around the veggies ... which TBH sounds quite comical to me.

    Well said.

Some people are just too sensitive and see racism comments where there are none. Possibly that says something about their own insecurities.

Of course they can see, as the op knows its a burka they would have full known knowledge that a burka is what muslim women wear. Comon its not in fashion and all women are wearing them.

What nikililla said that she describes this a old man with a hat to her mum, that makes common sense as her mum has already seen the person and so forth. But on an internet forum i dont get why a description of any sort is needed.

no offence was prob meant its just a sensitive subject thats all. i really dont want to go on about it. Sorry i have a 1 yr old having tanstrums at the moment.

We all use word to describe people in situations, just like you have in your last sentance. It means nothing!

Re the sensitivity, we all have crosses to bare. Take it for what it was and lets move on.
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.
