I seem to remember Andy thingie off Mock The Week saying every woman would probably like one for those spotty face and bad hair days :rotfl:

Andy Hamilton ... brilliant man! And I agree ... when Mr T starts stocking them (and they have a glitch) I'll be there in the queue!

Right ... gonna do a Lindt test run!

    Well said.

Some people are just too sensitive and see racism comments where there are none. Possibly that says something about their own insecurities.

Thats not very nice, what i was trying to point out was that on an online forum why do we have to describe people. There are many types of people on here and one comment to someone else might not be an issue but to someone else. I am not the 1st person to raise an issue like this. Cant we just stop describing people. I dont see how adding the burka, or a man with a hat, or the fat woman actually helps. I dont get it.

I wasnt saying he was being rasict, i said is there any need to write burka? So to my point above, why describe people on an online forum when things can be taken the wrong way. Do you get me? SO no i wasnt saying french knickers to be racist or a racist remark. Just that describing is unnessary.

And yes i dont want to make this a big deal, it was merely a suggestion. And i know he is a fav on here, so I did think twice before i commented. Hope that leaves it and no more remarks about me calling him a racist. Or a personal attack on me.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Morning everyone, well now the eggs are eggsposed I'm pleased I managed to get 14 packs yesterday morning in my local.

Paid a visit to B**y *t Edm**ds last night and found 5 Littlest Pet Shop figures @ 4p each. They all had the b/c ending 1011. I did scan a few others but they scanned at £1.28. There was a box still there if that is of use to someone.
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
  • Not altogether OT, is anyone familiar with Tim Minchin's song Prejudice?

Very funny if you have a few spare minutes:

A Tesco spokeswoman said: “Everything will be back to normal by the morning. We’ve had a glitch on the system and have been working to solve it. Where the price has come up at 1p, we have been honouring it.”

Nope, not if you've been trouted:cool:

OK ... from now on ... no adjectives allowed! This way we won't offend anyone (trouts included).

Or a 1 yr old having a tantrum? To quote yourself.

I have no problem with your inital comment but if you make suggestions to others then adhere to them yourself perhaps.
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

    I have a friend who is 46.

    She has 5 kids aged 22, 19, 7, 6 and 3 (the last 3 are adopted).

She is now 10 weeks pregnant. They are absolutely delighted, she is very well if a bit tired.

She is trying to convince me that it is a good idea for me to join her but there is no way I would have had another child even at 40 (I am now 50!!).

If you want another child and no-one is heavily against it, and you are healthy, go for it girl!

I was 21 when I had my eldest daughter, 30 when I had my second daughter and 37 when I had my son.
I would say that I had more energy with the first two, but more patience with the third :)
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Actually I'd like to withdraw this ... FK didn't even use an adjective
