Keep an eye out for the Me to You teddies, gifts etc. The WTP teddies and the snow globes in the same section. There are some baby trinket boxes and money boxes at my local (little teddy sitting on top and square tin money box with emossed hand and foot prints on, perfect for new baby gifts).

  • Evening All,
I would like to say a big thank you :T to the op who posted about the boots vitamins offer. Today I took advantage and each time made sure with other items (including the dettol hand wash half price and less voucher ) that the amount was over £5 netting another boots no. 7 voucher which I then used on the next transaction. I'm so chuffed with my little haul and OH is proud of me :j

I know exactly what you mean. Having Aspergers I would find it wrong picking on someone who has a mental illness.

Pot, kettle, black and people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones both come to mind.
Thank you Happy. It's so lovely when people understand so easily x

Gorgeous pic of little Phoebe SSS!
Without hair and beard. I kind of like my beard as it hides the double chins. :):rotfl:

welcome to the world beautiful princess ! and congrats sss and family she is perfect..........i am getting abit broody so guna stop looking now !! xx
  • Trick is to just keep going over and over it until you hear it not cutting anything. I did it without a mirror but I use a beard trimmer whilst looking in the bathroom mirror to tidy up round my ears and what not.

It's been so long since I've had a proper shave I just know I'll come out in a rash and spots. However, a few years ago I had a shave with a cut throat razor in Egypt and it was best shave I'd ever had. Beard trimmer is the best thing I've bought in years though, also comes in handy for trimming me poobes.

Just dribbled orange juice all over myself!!!! haha...

you really make me laugh HC. XX

Just been to Re@ding West Extr@ and picked up some mini eggs. Scanned at self scanner for 1p, so I threw 5 bags in the basket along with 5 bags of spicy peanuts and a few things I actually needed and headed to the til.

Going thru self service til I got to the end, pressed "finish and pay" and nothing happened. Tried again, frozen. Eventually a SA came over who didn't seem to notice my penny list and sent me across to another scanner while she tried to fix mine. Exactly the same happened. Nearby manager came over and said the til would not allow me to go through with items for a penny, confiscated the penny items and left to take any remaining peanuts or mini eggs off the shelf.

I'm not doing so well at this...

I think they must have been primed to look out for the mini-eggs. That's the trouble when something gets a lot of publicity on Hot uk deals, and the main grabbit section, they become aware of it and stop it. On here we can keep it a bit more 'under the radar'

I got the 1p Bin fresheners in there this morning, and the self-service till SA definitely saw the price because she was looking right at me, but she didn't say anything. A couple of weeks ago I got a lot of Andrex there, and again they were fine about it.
I think it's just the eggs have got Mr t's management excited.

I'm just praying that nobody wants a pic of said trimmed poobes.:eek:

Ah, you should have left the poobes in place, good for keeping you warm in the winter. Unless you have a hot date lined up????????
