Just a quick update (I haven't read back since midday so I've pobably missed loads) but ...

    • got some 1p Lindt and Cadbury's mini eggs in an Extra
    • got some 1p Lindt eggs in a 'regular' store (also shared the 'secret' with a neighbour of mine who was shopping at the time ... little old man in his 80s ... he walked away with 2 packs to accompany his loaf of value bread and 1 pint of milk ;) made his day)
Also, back to Huggies (Pure and Aloe) Wipes ... I don't know whether this is 'normal' for Mr T but ... in the Extra store I was in this morning they were B1G2F ... in the regular store this evening they were B2G1F.

BTW ... I returned the wipes I got last week and still have a golden receipt so now I can go and get some more at B1G2F :D

Had to take a couple of the pork leg joints back today, as they smelt awful. I hadn't opened them either, so I think that it's a problem with the encapsulation rather then the meat. Got a full refund (even tho' had had dtd). I asked about the joints that my DD had in her freezer and was told that when she went to use them, if they were not ok, to take them back to the store. She advised that she wouldn't need a receipt as the product had a T label on it and would get refunded on the price shown! She also told me that they were direct from the supplier and not vis T, so that it may be the supplier who contacts me in a couple of weeks and not T. For anyone with more than ' cough' two joints in the freezer, you'll be able to return them over a period of time and, if you choose to, to different shops. If you don't want an explanation of the problem, you 'don't' have to give your correct name, after all didn't you buy them for Auntie, Uncle etc. etc. For what it's worth, the supplier number on mine was 5213. I'm sorry I haven't got the exact info, but I think there is a bargain tent around.

I was in the clearance section and a customer asked the SA how much a tent was. The SA took it away, and came back and said it was 75p. The customer bought 2, which left 2 on the shelf. I didn't bother with them, as I am definately not the camping type. :D

I know the SEL didn't say that price, but I'm not sure what it did say. They were in a blue cover, and looked quite small on the shelf. I think it was a 2 man pop-up tent. Maybe something like this one.

They sound like the Tesco Value 2 person dome tents that I got several of about 3 months ago 75p . B/C 8039

If you are not paying for it, you're not the customer; you're the product being sold.
