I'm sorry I haven't got the exact info, but I think there is a bargain tent around.
I was in the clearance section and a customer asked the SA how much a tent was. The SA took it away, and came back and said it was 75p. The customer bought 2, which left 2 on the shelf. I didn't bother with them, as I am definately not the camping type.
I know the SEL didn't say that price, but I'm not sure what it did say. They were in a blue cover, and looked quite small on the shelf. I think it was a 2 man pop-up tent. Maybe something like this one.

I have looked for the sfried chicken marked 2 for £3 but can only see the boxes marked at £3, am I looking in the right place - the freezer?
The SEL was £2.50 and I found four packs marked 2 for £3 amongst about 20 packs with nothing written on.
Grabbed the four packs and on checking my receipt I saw that a multibuy discount of £4 had come off
Mine must be the only T's in the country that's got it right :mad:My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
You only get it in one ankle ? I've had some "experiences" with disabled bays I'll get too angry if I relate them, saw a car with some brilliant stickers on it about being disabled I have a photo somewhere I'll try & find it. OMG I can understand you were feeling down but that sort of behaviour gets my back up I would have had to have gone over & said something.
Although I must admit when I see one person alone parking in a parent & child I'm tempted to say "Excuse me, you've forgotten your child " :rotfl:
I've had that said to me when I have parked up but I meet my friend in the stores cafe and take her child off her for the day I also take the car seat off her too so need plenty of space to fix it in when I got a wriggling child in a pushchair too, I do put the person in the picture though :T0 -

How far do you go looking for glitches ? 3 counties !
It's not difficult if you live near the borders, I'm in Wilts but in 30 mins I can be in Gloucestershire or Oxfordshire, or in Somerset in 45 minsArtha, Everything in the sale is 75% off. If you get there early when they open from my experience theirs usually not many people there as they don't advertise it. It's a great sale and well worth going to and don't forget you can get boots points too;)
....or spend them if you have a few!
Is it pretty certain the sale starts tomorrow morning now? I have been for a reccy in my local and pinpointed what I want just in case....No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

I know that the Tesco Value 2 man tents have been 75p for a while so could have been those, they are in a blue canvas roll-up bag with a handle. Think this is them:

Long story but the rest of the staff made his life hell and picked on him for not being the full shilling. One day I was turning down one of the aisles and heard the tale end of a nasty comment someone was making to him as they walked past him. Later I found him at the other side of the shop restocking the freezers and I walked up beside him and reached for something in the freezer next to him and without looking at or even acknowledging him I said "make another comment like that again to my friend Craig and I'll be waiting outside in the dark for you one night when you least expect it". The guy left shortly afterwards but it didn't stop the others from picking on him.
It all got too much for him in the end and he had to leave. I've seen him and spoke to him a few times since he left but it was only tonight that I got the opportunity to tell him what I'd done and I hug and a kiss on the cheek for it.:o:o

Ah Woolies, never used them as they didn't move with the times and stuff was way over priced. I remember the year they went bust and there was an abundance of easter eggs as Woolies order of eggs got bought up by the supermarkets cheap. My local T's was knocking out Cadbury easter eggs with the mugs for a quid, then 75p, then 50p then back to a quid again.:beer:
I still find Woolies stuff turning up in my local poundstretchers lol!
I always remember what Frankie Boyle said about Woolies and how someone must have gone in to a meeting and come up with a magnificent selling strategy..."at least two huge back walls filled with paint rollers, but get this, no paint!"
:rotfl::rotfl:
My friend Laura reckons they lost a lot of revenue when they stopped selling chart singles, she could be right there! No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023
