  • What really pis s es me off is bus drivers!! I've got one of those pensioners/disabled peoples bus passes that allows me to travel for free, by bus, anywhere in Scotland.

I got on a bus the other day and asked for 'Baker Street' which was one stop away. He looked at me and said "one stop? are you kidding?":mad:

It was one of the older buses that didn't have a partition between me and the driver so I leant in and said "If I tried to walk it I'd be in a heap before I even got half way. Just because I might look young fit and strong doesn't give you, or anyone else the right to assume I am. but thanks for letting me lean in so I can get a note of your driver number so I can make a complaint about your attitude".

The guy went a shade of red I'd never seen before. He was going to open his trap and I just gave him a dirty look as if to say 'don't even bother'.

He banged the buttons on the ticket machine and give me a ticket, albeit grudgingly.

Still waiting to hear back from First but knowing them, I won't get a reply. :(
i see people get on the bus and get off one stop later all the time, whats his problem:(

Me: You just did, transaction is complete. Till offers eggs for 1p, I accept offer to treat at 1p a bag, I pay, transaction complete.

Me: Do you want me to explain the Sale of Goods Act to you? Transaction is complete. End of Story.

Me: I'd advise you to stop there unless you want me to also explain what Slander is.

    OB

OB well done, I go to jelly at the SS tills, I'm going to memorise your phrases!

went into my local boots late this evening, just before closing time, to pick up a prescription to see a nice big pile of 75% sale shelving labels behind the till.

I asked the sales assistant if the pile of labels are to be put out tonight, she said yes, because the sale starts tomorrow.

My local store is very small and only had about 5 things on the shelf...... however i think this is a very strong indication that it is gonna be tomorrow!!!

Shame i don't have any money this year to go crazy like before....... but may have a sneaky peak in a big store tomorrow :D

from one of the boots threads ... oooh I hope so :T
