  • I bought some celariac the other day.I've never used it and would like some tasty meatfree ideas of how to serve it.Anyone got any recipes to share.Thankyou.
  • Delia has a recipe for a celeriac and potato puree with garlic - it's very delicious and the kind of thing you can eat far too much of :) There's also a recipe for celeriac and lancashire cheese bread which looks interesting, and her four star slaw is good too (although it's maybe not the weather for it lol!)

I love the taste of celeriac :) I add it to mashed potatoes, roast it (like parsnip) and use it in soup (carrot and celeriac is good). You can also use it in a stew or veg pie.

Google for my near neighbour, Jack Buck Growers - country's biggest grower of celeriac and lots of recipes for their more unusual vegetables. HTH
