Based on this written by Martin, it's Boots only and as he has spoken to Clinique and has made no mention of an appointment I doubt you need one.

The detail: It's while stocks last. Clinique hasn't been able to confirm specific stock levels but has said it's ordered more stock than the last time this offer was on. Saying that, this offer's been mega popular in the past so it's worth calling ahead to check stock at your local store.

Could we not argue about this? There will always be some people who want more from a promotion than others but this is kinda getting off topic. And nasty.

So - not sure if this has been answered - but do you HAVE to buy one of the products they'll try to sell you? I wouldn't be adverse to getting a new foundation, but does it have to be something they suggest to you, or can it be anything? If you are obliged to buy anything at all?

New to the idea of getting something for nothing and liking it I need a new foundation, and if I get to try a new mascara for free its even better!

my boots also said i would need an appointment AND that they will only be exchanging one mascara per appointment. HTH
