Last time I got mine from the Clinique counter in Debenhams, but not sure if this is a different promotion.

it's because of people taking the !!!!!! last year that now it's an appointment system and the only way to get a sample is to be harassed and sold to before you get one!

Or you could stop moaning, avoid the "harassment" and stay home! or better still, buy it full price. you have got absolutely no right to dictate to people the amount of freebies they can get. Move along now, this is getting stale.

Some people, like myself, feel strongly about others abusing offers. This is supposed to be a community for like-minded people. We all like a bargain. However, after some of the posts on here it's not a community I'd like to be part of, I can't abide greed.

I also don't like the snide comments when a newbie posts, somehow it's inferred your comment is invalid as you've only been posting for a short time which is ridiculous.

The idea of this site is to share money saving ideas/offers. When some people abuse these offers by getting loads of them it means others can't benefit from them. There's nothing big or clever about that and it's pure and simple greed. No-one was trying to dictate anything, they were simply pointing out the facts; greedy people who abuse offers are the reason that these offers get withdrawn or have restrictions put in place.

Does anyone else have any further information about this promotion? Is it only at Boots? Do you have to make an appointment? I've not seen it advertised anywhere personally, but will try to find out more information.

I'm the boss of me and if i decide i want to exchange 5 or 6 mascaras, its my decision. clinique has a choice to refuse to exchange them. thats why companies have a little thing called "terms and conditions". And i could care less if you or any one else is new or not. But when you waltz in and start calling people you dont even know greedy, you can expect some objection.
