Clinique Mascara Exchange

I haven't heard of this before - what do you do, just go in on Saturday morning with an old mascara? I will def get myself there

Last time I did this the assistant insisted I make an appointment for a makeover ! I did but cancelled it later !

Would do you say to them at the counter ? sorry to sound dumb but its going to be my first time. I've got an old no 7 mascara that I'd exchange

I would just say something like you have been thinking about trying out clinique make up and have heard if you brought in an old mascara they would give you a clinique one to try.

So I can just buy a mascara from poundland and get a free Clinque sample one in exchange?

I am going to go next Saturday, do you think they'll accept a mascara from primark as I have no old ones.

Zoe, you can take ANY brand mascara to the counter (other than Clinique I suppose)

Please remember that last time this was just a small trial size one however they are great if you travel lots or only wear makeup occasionally x

Went into Maidstone Boots today, and there was a sign on the Clinique counter about the mascara exchange -

- You have to bring in a FULL SIZE mascara to exchange, not a travel/sample size mascara.
- You have to make an appointment (from 14 Jan onwards) and only then will you get your mascara exchanged.

I'm guessing the appointment will consist of them giving you the big sell, and then you'll get your mascara exchanged after that.

The SA was very friendly when I asked about it further, but was adamant that you do have to book an appointment to take advantage of this offer. So unfortunately it's not as simple as it seems - just be aware
