Clinique Mascara Exchange

I called in and picked one up in Milton Keynes on Wednesday and she just took the old mascara with no mention of a consultation or any hard sell

I went in to Boots in Bath on the 20th Jan to exchange two empty mascaras (had three but thought it would be cheeky). Assistant said I could only exchange one and I had to fill a form with my details. I was told my daughter (???) could bring the other one in but would also have to fill in a form. Not a very pleasant assistant in my opinion.

An hour later I asked my husband to go in for a replacement and explained that he would have to give his wife's details. He went in, came back out almost immediately with a new mascara. No details asked for and no hassle and BTW it was the same assistant!

I went in on the 21st; different assistant, mascara exchanged with no hassle and no details taken. BTW, all were Clinique which I normally buy.

So, total inconsitency even with individual assistants. I am a happy though. Have the high impact and lengthening one and my sister has a free mascara.

Thanks to OP. took in one but asked to try both of them as dont normally use clinique. she gave me the two to try. she did say that they are not allowed to do this though. this was in central london

also she never asked fro any of my details

EVERY time I have been into town I only have my decent mascara with me. UGH!

I had no problem in Bath's Boots on Saturday (21st). Handed over my old mascara - no form to fill in, no mention of a consultation. Much easier than anticipated!

All gone in Walsall last Saturday, but she said to call back this week just in case.
