And what I mean by this is please provide some evidence (i.e. these laws that you mention) to say that private companies or individuals cannot buy and sell their property at whatever price they agree with the buyers of said property.
Is that an AE dfh2012?
OK, you provide evidence that I am wrong.
All the evidence I need is the fact that Heinz dont charge £500 for beans and M&S don't charge £1,000,000 for a jumper. If they were legally allowed to, they would.0 -
And in fact, the charge now becomes discriminatory under UK law. If you take a car to the airport, you must pay an illegal charge. If you take the bus, you are somehow exempt from this charge, despite conducting the same actions.
You have freedom of choice.
You can choose not to take the car.
Again, please post the link to any 'Discrimination Law' which deals with this.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -

Heinz do not charge £500 for a tin of beans because the competition only charge about 60p. They would soon go out of business! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

<sigh>.
You are clearly a wind-up merchant. No-one can really be that stupid can they?
Do you know anything about prices, supply and demand, contracts etc?
If they charged £500 for a tin of beans they wouldn't sell any. Hence they sell at a price people will pay for them.
Please tell us about this mystery legislation you are now saying exists.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
I think we can safely assume this poster is either a troll or possibly the most stupid poster to grace this forum. And let's be honest there have been some bad posters! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Hothead is a very poor excuse for a Troll, don't you think?

Since they registered to back up another newbie my inclination is it is an AE of dfh2012 (and they really are that stupid).
Or probably just a troll with nothing better to do than wind others up on the internet on a Saturday night.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -

But the service provided to bus passengers is the exact same as that provided to those arriving by car. It is discriminatory to charge the car driver for using the same service the bus passenger is using.0 -

Perhaps you should start a new civil right movement to fix this terrible case of discrimination? You could be the 21st century Martin Luther king? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
