Why does my username (the name of a band) have anything to do with my stance? I am a consumer and regularly post on the consumer rights board. I am 100% in favour of the consumer, but it doesn't mean they are by default in the right regardless of what some stupid people think.
One excuses themselves from using the car parking facilities by err.... not going in? Simple. Since the charges are stated OUTSIDE the car park (and probably on their website etc) then hardly any excuse for not knowing before going through the barrier and into the area you are going to get charged in.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
The crux of the matter is that companies cannot charge whatever they want willy Nilly. So if someone does charge 100000 for a tin of beans , people like me will protest while people who believe that they can charge whatever they want will pay those ridiculous prices to defend these companies.
Be quiet now, no-one is listening to you.
You're still wrong. Posting the same twaddle over and over again changes nothing.
Edit: Were you protesting at this? someone paid over £1m for a bathtub http://english.alarabiya.net/articles/2011/11/13/176940.htmlThinking critically since 1996....0 -

I'd love to be behind them in the queue the day that beans are 100,000 and they don't have the means to turn around and drive away without beans0 -

If you had read the thread you would have a scooby-doo about what you are talking about.
Dfh2012 stated it was ILLEGAL to sell things above a certain price. We were all arguing it was market forces that dictated prices, not the law. Common sense, evidently it passed you both by.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -

You seem to be a very angry person, but I am curious so point out which part makes it unlawful to charge for dropping off at the airport ?
I think it is pretty despicable charging for dropping of but it isn't unlawful to do so"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts."

If someone charges 1000000 for a tin of beans, will the police come running round and bang them up? No. Because they are allowed to charge it just as the customer is allowed to go elsewhere and pay 75p instead.******** Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity *******"Always be calm and polite, and have the materials to make a bomb"0 -

The same thing has been said about 50 different times yet the poster seems unable to grasp this very simple concept.
They seem to think that just because something is unlikely to happen that it cannot (or is infact against the law to) happen.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
