    Hello all

Good day yesterday as a NSD :j :j Must update sig.

Today was less good - realise not around to cook kids tea tomorrow and they requested filled pasta, sauce and garlic bread as its dead easy for them to prepare. DD1 not back until 8 either. Any road up, £20 later they have their tea :( At least they will enjoy it!!

On a better note, I did pick up a more than half price beef joint which will be lush for Sunday SC dinner. £5 and should have been £13 :( It has gone in the packed freezer...just!!

No progress on the decluttering or Bay of E..but house is tidy and laundry up together so could be worse. My second income stream is going again and I am working 4 days this week, so thats handy money wise. I also paid off one CC in full and have a plan to kick the other one (with spends from over Christmas/holidays) in early Feb so that after that its all about taking down the debt :D

Lots of love and hope you have a good evening

Thanks SA, her lifestyle could be a bit worthy? To some anyway, but I think she writes well and anyone who is on track for FI at 33  deserves the requisite recognition :D

    How's work? Taxis working out?

And another.. :) Working my butt off at the moment but can breathe on Friday (I hope).

    A NSD too :)

Liked the Frugalwoods post today - frugal stuff to do with friends..We dont often eat out - but we entertain lavishly...and are entertained lavishly in return..so it would be interesting to see if we all stepped it down a tad whether we'd actually notice. I suspect not. May broach it with some of my closest friends..

    Will update signature.

    Hi NOA

And another NSD yesterday... :) :j Managed to avoid having a coffee at the station too so doubly proud of myself. Not a AFD though ;) as I was out with friends last night which was lovely. Which reminds me of that FW post..increasingly we don't go out to dinner, we go around to friends and are cooked for, or else we entertain at ours. Which is much more frugal and well, just where we need to be at the moment as its also about being cosy and indoors and knowing that both the food and service will be top notch ;) is what matters too!

I thought I'd do another update:

    - Meal planning - still going well, although this week there was some shuffling. Having things like large shepherds pies in the freezer from bulk cooking the week before makes a huge difference. I am doing Lancashire Hotpot (with some modifications) with the LO's from Sunday eve. If its cooked for long enough should be fine. I will do meal planning for next week and try and keep it cheap.
    - 5:2 - no chance. just not happening and exercise is . Lots of steps but not enough cardio vascular work :(
    - Host Family - going OK - in fact better than OK. Sometimes the kids all squabble, but mainly its good and I feel pretty fortunate with our guest.
    - Business Development - very good and likely to continue into next month with 2 additional income streams :D. Really picked it up a gear (partly by chance if I am honest, but then seizing opportunities (well the right ones anyway)) is part of running a business. As I am not sure whats happening after Spring, and as I need to seriously kick the CC debt into touch and rebuild the EF etc, I am seizing them now and pushing on through the fatigue. OH is back in a while which will make it hugely easier...(and his first job will be to sort that darn DW :( )
-Decluttering - not great, but on the list for this weekend ;)
    - YNAB - yep, its all going in and I am gunning for that savings rate goal :)
    - screens - all going off at 9:30. Then a bit of reading. its working quite well actually and the DDs are buying into it as well :T
    - no new work clothes..indeed any clothes for me - (not even from a CS) result and now planning to push on until end April with no purchases :A

Thanks for reading, going to do a few chores and will be back later to catch up on some diaries :)

Cheers beanie. It certainly feels that way.

Dinner cooking as I write (and its wall to wall leftovers to boot) and chooks are laying well - much to be grateful for. A LSD today - just £10.84 on groceries and £5.50 on reduced bread from the local bakers so am bagging that as a LSD.

I may change 'my' rules on NSDs as well...as money goes out of the account most days for dinner money, lessons, (cleaner ;))..and count it as a NSD unless I spend money that was not pre-planned..but the austerity of not being able to currently count it as a NSD unless nothing at all leaves my hands does appeal also...decisions, decisions.

Had a quick estimate and think I am on track for the savings rate goal too :) Will hopefully be plenty to put against the CC debt this and next month :D

Have a great evening folks :)
