A good weekend, but a busy one and so.. the week starts again. Greetings from the train!!
Good things-
- did my Frugalwoods homework and actions so up to date and feel better for it
- good times with friends and family, sociable food filled weekend (no AFDs tho!!)
- MOVs and loyalty scheme got me £15 off my food shopping :j
- no need to spend today as have coffee with me, lunch too so no reason not to have a NSD. Cycled into station too so some exercise too.
- went out on Saturday but only spent £6
- tax return complete and paid
Less good-
- no progress on decluttering and EBay. Need to prioritise that this week.MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Absolutely! I used the Guardian one from summer last year. PM me if you can't see it on tinternet. I used shoulder and have plenty of left overs. Don't add too much extra oil though as with shoulder there is plenty there already. Went down very well. Easy too. Will be doing it again. It's good enough for Greek bandits and it was good enough for my lot!
Have a good day everyoneMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Hi jvr
There's a US blogger called Mrs Frugalwoods which is running an uber frugal month for Jan. I am not being ultra ultra frugal - there were too many pre-planned events, and OH is away, but it's good to be plugging away at getting my savings rate up (to pay back the CC debt ASAP) and spends down. She sends an email every day with an action - aka my homework!!MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Hi brizzle, might look into following Mrs Frugalwoods- not heard of her before and anything that helps to get our spends down even further would be fab, especially if it comes with daily tips on email! Although uber frugal sounds very scary and the thought of homework fills me with dread! :rotfl: Thanks for the tip I'll take a look now!
You sound so organised this month, fingers crossed I'll master being so organised one day! Love the sound of that recipe might have to try that this weekend too!
