Certainly a very decisive result from Scotland.
Opens the way for yet another Scottish referendum :(

Yep, Scots friends have used the phrase 'despair'. I just hate the way it makes us look. Farage, Le Pen etc do NOT speak for me. This is not the message I want our countries to portray. Intolerance, insularity, small mindedness.

Anyway., we will survive and I for one will continue to stand for what I always do. But I feel badly let down today. Thanks god Brizzle remained resolute. We have talked to our mayor about remaining alongside London and Cardiff in the EU ;)

    So all things MSE..

    - budget is seriously going to pot. We need to try harder. TA pizza for tea. But needed it.
    - booked flights to Spain for holiday. Pretty cheap. Just now need accommodation. Lack of availability (not surprising given time of year) but we have some leads. I decided I need sun. So DDs and I are going away and dragging OH along too..
    - we have an offer on the room..unusual set up, but will tell you more when it's settled. Responsibility but am quite excited about it all and feel it'll benefit my family
    - decorated 2 rooms..nothing like a prospective tenant coming round to focus the mind. Place looks great and only after 24 hrs hard slog. Really worth it. V pleased. And paint used was all from loft, so no spend!!
    - TT done. All CCs paid off. Savings taking a beating though :(

I am afraid I saw this coming.. 7 UKIP AMs voted in only just last month? But what still worries me is that areas which voted Remain (all 3 of them :( ) have 3 times the level of immigration that the Leave areas have...tells you something hey.

    Scary days ahead.

The future is definitely worrisome... my European colleagues have been left quite insulted by the result, although my local area and city did vote remain. :(

Worrying times ahead - so much for tolerance, unity and progress :(
feels like we have stepped backwards a few decades.
DD says hasn't been able to sleep - she says she's never been so scared about the future in her whole life (and she's not normally a very outspoken person when it comes to politics.

Also have European friends living here (Austrian, german, French, dutch, Italian and others) - all feel quite disappointed and saddened.

    Hi all

Feeling pretty broken but have to make the best of the uncertainty I guess. Still finding it incredible that neither 'camp' seemed to have a plan for winning (or losing).. Reckon you'd find plenty more leadership on these threads...at think us folks would at least come up with a deliverable strategy or three :D

DD1 wanted a Chinese TA (its raining, her dad is away and she worked hard for GCSEs)..but as she agreed..it was carp. Hopefully that means that we wont get one again for AAAGES..silver linings and all that :)

Have been pretty good on the TTs, but have ravaged my savings. Topped up my SIPP, but thats not quite the same. Need to do better.

It will be quite a good month earnings wise, ditto July but August will be rubbish as taking so much time off. Need to prepare for that, but haven't as yet.

What else? Have booked my holiday - flights and accommodation. Spain here we come! Happy days...can't wait.

Hope everyone is well..will try and cruise the diaries this eve and check in on youse.

    xx
