    Thanks NOA...hows it going? Haven't popped by for a while..sorry :(

Nice eve out last night..concert and tickets were paid for yonks ago and we ate in beforehand so all cheap..although I did buy a CD from the merch stall.. :o

Chores day today. Been out and about collecting items and wishing it wasn't raining. Quiet here - I am at home and kids are still at school and OH at work...almost feel like a nap :) TTs done and a Pinec&ne survey. House looking quite respectable too..although unlikely to be still like that after the long weekend..!

Didn't get the nap SA but dinner done and (with help of OH) a tonne of wood is now unloaded and in our shed. Out again now to get DD1.. then dinner again with OH :)

Not feeling hugely healthy. May have to kick start some running or something to get the mojo back. Not bad, but am sure I could feel better.

Hope you get a few good nights sleep SA

Yay sun shining!!! Well I can see it through the window, I haven't ventured out yet ;)

YNAB and TTs sorted. Over on YNAB budget for a few categories - groceries, alcohol and kids clothes - not crazily, but will need to refocus next month. Going to a concert this eve, but already paid for.

    Have a great weekend folks

Had a lovely day yesterday, working in the garden, kids happy and floating about, some revision for DD1 (then she had a social with mates- can't be all work work work) and then out to a great gig with OH. :) Very nice Good Friday...

What I did do MSE wise was TTs, a small declutter (only 10 items) and bought some work clothes from Ph&se 8.. Used the sale and MOVs but didn't think to use TCB...doh!!! Will not make that mistake again...

    Raining/grey here today.

  • Sounds lovely, We have a couple of summer events planned... they seem so far away right now but as our days off together are few and far between they will come quickly. :)

I'm looking forward to an April of nothings.. we've had a spendy March and need to tighten our belts again.

    Happy Easter x

Thanks for info on Bristol £'s. Ha the chances of anything happening like that here,in thus part of Wales is likely to be remote.........den thought there are plenty here who would whole heartedly embrace it. I would be happy to be proved wrong but whilst we have councils run by male dinosaurs where anything innovative is treated with suspicion, a conspiracy, a threat to the culture/language, it will a long time before we saw anything remotely as successful as the £BP:mad: Like I said, there will be plenty who would welcome it and I am sure it would be successful but unfortunately a few would put up an enormous barrier and it would fail...........Please someone prove me wrong!!!

Hmm.. Think the £BP stood up because there were a core of people who believed in it, not all establishment figures by any means...certainly the local authority were a facilitator but not the prime mover.

I will ask about and see how important, in hindsight, they think it was to have the council behind them. But have to say, this local currency concept is a celebration of all that's local and the idiosyncrasies that go with that too.. Would have hoped that the deep Welsh areas would see this as an opportunity to celebrate it, not knock it. The idea is that more of the income generated by the spend stays in the local economy. But do know Ig, how change resistant some folks are..and perhaps always were. Very galling when one is not that way inclined ;)

Just had a lovely sociable time. With friends and then skyped very good but vey distant friends...its morning there! Thank gawd for technology. Free and easy...what's not to like?

Have a great weekend all x
