Hi greent
Thanks for popping by. Agree - have dropped the starting bids, relisted and if that doesn't work it'll be off to the CS, but that doesn't help me reach my sales target for March of course and DD2 has just come back with a school trip note she's really like to go on. Where have all the buyers gone?MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Or they've been kondo-ing and are now only selling/ donating things and not buying!

Hi brizzle,
I've read all of your diary over the past week or so and it's fabulous... I've picked up many tips and recipes to use.. Your lives are so full but filled with compassion.. as others have said living to excess often on credit, is not as fulfilling as spending time together thoughtfully. (been there done that got the handbags and holiday memories).
I hope to keep up some of your drive to change our futures... We are on the way at least.. just a few years laterMortgage restart June 2018 £119950Re mortgage August 19 £110470, … Mortgage November 22 £85600 final 0% CC 3300Home renovations - £65000, mid 2018 - mid 20220 -
Moneyfordreams..what a lovely thing to say. I am very touched by your kind words and also that you have managed to find your way through my meanderings and LBMs which flickered on and off for so many years
I find this forum amazing. So supportive, regardless of one's situation, and I am so pleased to say that I have found some kindred spirits on here... it really helps when the going gets tough.
Today has been a good day - hard to wake up this morning but then glad I did..even driving into work before 7...there was sunshineyay!! It looks like I have work for a few more months, if not longer, and thats good to know.
OH has a new project he is working on, but no idea, as a consequence, of what holiday he may be able to take over the summerwhich makes working out what we can do hard...and as you folks know, I am a planner
who likes to have good things to look forward to (even if its one week in a campsite in the rain :rotfl:)- also as its DD1's GCSEs, am keen to see if we can do some special stuff to help her celebrate when the hard work is over.. anyway will keep you posted.
Dinner today was wall to wall Use Ups. Fish cakes from Thursday's LO mash potato, salad made from whatever was in the salad compartment (including some elderly parsley) with a salad made from grilled halloumi, ancient avocadotoasted seeds and then LO strudel. Yum. It was lush, and largely thrown together after work. Even better.
Meal planning makes such a difference cost wise but also time wise. Think its one of the biggest and most effective changes we have made to our lifestyle...
TTs done and YNAB updated every day. OH is a gem in that regard. Am very keen to top up ISAs etc..but know I must really resist and build up an emergency fund instead..just doesn't feel as interesting!
Think that's it. If I get a chance this week, really looking forward to catching up on the diaries...miss you guys :grouphug:

Just catching up with with you and it's great to hear you still sounding so positive and motivated which is really encouraging for us all to read. Perhaps you should bottle your enthusiasm and sell it on eBayI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

I feel very blessed by these lovely posts. Thanks guys
Good but v busy week. Extra hours which is good news, but pretty drained now. Going to some meetings tomorrow to keep some contacts live, which is good, managed to get a good train price (shock horror!) and used TCB
Sold 1 Bay of E item for v small sum. Bored now. Inclined to put rest out for CS! Giving up now? Or certainly tempted to!
In PJs alreadyand looking forward to OH's lovely HM naan, rice and Dahl after the clans aka the kids return home from various activities
Watched last episodes of Happy Valley last night. Sarah L is my new crush. She is a flippin' amazing actress, as is the actress that plays her sister etc. Horrific but awesome by turns. Sally Wainwright is truly gifted. Loved it. .MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal
