Hello all
Quiet day MSE wise today - but have done a huge TT (;)) and just finished another PC survey so another £3 bagged. Can't wait for the FIT (Feed in Tariff from the solar panels) payment too. Can't be long away now and as its winter it wont be much but it can all go to the OP pot.
Dinner was a very fast yummy Thai Prawn Curry. Super quick and all ingredients from the fridge and freezer.
Hope everyone is wellMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

The Eglu is great. Would be worth saving up for if serious about chooks in a tiny urban space like mine. OH and I so love getting eggs..productive pets. Who eat our scraps. It's ace.
We could never justify one as we are rural with large garden backing onto a field where the ladies spent most of their day during the summer. But I am serious abut one for school We hatched our own hens but they live in a boring wooden hen house in the school garden - quite fancy something bright pink!! I love the fact they eat almost anything too..........once the kids at school found out that we often gave them left over sweetcorn and broccoli from their dinners the consumption of said veg went down markedly as they were 'saving it for the hens' :rotfl:Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Sounds lush. Am envious, Igamogam. We have about 2 square yards at the back of a terraced Victorian house..but they cope and are laying loads
Think getting one for school is a good idea. Also great to get kids closer to their food and where it comes from. Raise the money at the school fair?
OH away and DD2 feeling low. DD1 finishing off exams so I have scraped together remainder of several YNAB pots and am taking them out for a cheap dinner. I will also have a small glass of wine. Feels like a long week already!!
So bit of a splurge. Sorry debsdon't think I am setting the best example
Now in other MSE matters..TT today and the FIT payment came through. £111 to the OP potMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal
