Does seem to be a bit of a waste (though they are absolutely delicious), so I think I will try your idea as well.
Bit in Bold - I have to agree and a lot of faff. I like to keep my recipes simply. The less you do the more likely you are to make it again!!!
The only thing to watch out for is that when you take them out of the oven and they look so lovely you don't attempt to eat one that is still whole as you will burn your mouth:eek:
Too be honest even though I put them in whole they mainly split as they are cooking anyway.0 -
Igamogam - mixed between Clevedon and West Bay. There was also one scene in the last series, where I am sure they were in Portishead as well. Some of the sea scenes had to be 'helped' along as the Bristol Channel isn't particularly blue!
I guessed;):)Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

- Laundry sorted and first load on
- Bought a few bits, some reduced but almost £30! Yikes. After saying on Mrs Ts thread wasn't worth going to Al&i clearly I was wrong there. Probably will split between grocery budget and days out budget on YNAB as some is cheese etc to take to friends to feed 4 hungry kids and 4 equally starving adults!
- girls doing HW
- soup in SC
- have meal planned for next 2 weeks. Lots of veggie meals. Unfort no fish but when I clear freezer will get on with filling a drawer back up again with wonderful local org trout to help keep us healthy

The sea is definitely not blue today even though there is a little bit of blue sky0 -

Thanks - I have gathered in lots more tomatoes today so will give this a try.0 -
Hi diary and friends
Nice day today, lots of work but loving the FL balance at the moment. Spent a day in the big smoke which had a good novelty factor
Today felt frugal and some income streams came in. Mixed lentil curry and parathas from the freezer. Very yum. Charged phones on the train..thanks First Great Western!;) and there is already a bid on a Bay of E item which has around 8 days to go. Kittens are amazing...still haven't got around to photos but everyone is loving having them around (well technically I don't like them chasing around the house in the early hours..but apparently I am just getting needlessly annoyed then!)
Green tomatoes are steadfastly green..but hoping the sun, bananas and red tomatoes within the baskets of green toms will help them ripen. If not it's chutney for them!
YNAB is still working well. We are really getting to grips with it. Really helps with the big picture stuff, and building up pots for holidays, insurances, long term savings is really straightforward.
Can't believe how the nights are closing in. Feels very wintry this eve, despite such a warm day.MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal
