    Hi everyone

Thanks all for dropping by- sorry haven't been about...work an all that.

Kittens are British Shorthairs. Our last one was a blue but this time the litter were all colour points so we have chosen a girl who is a seal point and a boy who will be either a blue or lilac colourpoint. Gorgeous. If I can post a picture I will :) Their mum was so calm and caring with them I feel sure they will be a happy addition to the Brizzle family:D OH less keen on 2 but was overruled by DDs who are ecstatic. When they come home from school they feel the house is lonely without animals and the chickens apparently don't count!!:rotfl:

On the MSE front...we have given up on the dishwasher and I have ordered a new one for delivery after our hols in Devon next week..think you have to know when to give up on items that are just unfixable. OH saying switch so worn now it won't work and no spare parts anywhere :( Anyway our nice local supplier is matching the best internet price, and throwing in delivery, installation, removal of old one to boot :j And...£100 less than the Johnny Lew price :):)

I will move over cash from the savings pot to pay for it shortly. Yay!!! I love saying that :D and it's cash/payment on delivery so even better..

Think that's it. Trying to be frugal but will stock up on yummy food on way to Devon.

    More later :)

Hope the M5 behaves itself for your journey down. Don't know where you join the m-way but if an accident is going to happen, it's normally near my nearest junction. My OH saw a really nasty accident on the bridge last Friday - he thought it was fatal, but others that I spoke to thought that the casualty was conscious.

Hi dangers..think we will set off early and try and miss some of the inevitable snarl ups and frustrated drivers..we shall see. Usually some sort of drama in that stretch though as you say and unfortunately it's often serious

    So today..

    - £9 requested from PC into my PayPal account :j ...my first proper payout as usually LVs before which I have never used..but must!

    - instead of expensive L@ncome stuff - trying Body Sh@p cleanser and eye make up remover..fingers crossed folks:D

    - OH cooked this eve..one of those nights when I really expected collapse into a takeaway..but no he was strong and made a lovely tea for kids and then later on for me...a stalwart :)

    - few more eggs from the chooks but now have 2 broodies  fighting for nest space...blooming bantams

    - and in BIG news..the smart meter for the solar panels passed £2k income yesterday...brilliant and well worth the capital investment :) That number is since they were installed in June 2011 but even so..

    Hope everyone is OK

  • Evening Brizzle, check your LV they have expiry dates

Definitely need cats in pairs - I always think one cat would be lonely - to all cat lovers who may disagree, I've used this argument twice with Mr T and both times ended up with two kittens :rotfl:

Have a good time away, Tilly x

Hi, thanks Tilly..but all expire around end of year so plenty of time. Where do you spend yours?

Agree re cats..especially when they are small. But only when got home really began to think about 2 lots of food, vets bills, neutering, killed mice and song birds....ho hum. Will just have to train them!

Feeling so positive about life and not just the hols next week...taking control is very liberating :)

Loaded up with amazing food. Can't wait for this week away :)

Any plans for yourself? Must pop in around the diaries..RL seems to have been sooo busy:(

    Take care x
