Hey brizzle - i am also upping my exercise at the moment - aiming to get into the walking to increase my fitness before i start running again :D

My spends yesterday came in at just over £10 yesterday - we stopped for our snack and had some garlic bread with our chips. This was a good thing as when we called into our local there was some live music on and they were very talented so we stayed out a bit longer than planned to enjoy that. Still the circa £11 i spent was still less than the cost of 1 main meal would have been ;)

Have a lovely bank holiday today x

I am still here  but just been drowning in work but end is in sight for a while next week when I can get onto thinking about more important things :rotfl: like how to increase my savings pots :)

Small MFW things this week have been:

    - usual TTs to neaten up the current account
    - no grocery shopping and Operation Use Up is still going apart from milk, veg and fruit
    - no personal spends at all in last 3 days

    Have a good day folks!

    What a week:eek: can't wait for Saturday:)

Any road up using my time on yet another train to update the spreadsheets. 24% of my OP mortgage pot is safely stashed away:j (not on my sig as it's not to be touched, idea is to build up £12k as an absolute emergency pot) and a fantastic 67% of my O&S pot :D Feel very pleased. Will have to start moving some monies from the pots in my sig when the bills come in but that's why I am building them up first!

Did a payment to my MOP account just now on the move. Blood& fantastic these smartphones!:)

In more good news OH has some overtime and the camper is on hire. Every little helps !:)

Planning to sort allotment this weekend... So far sadly neglected and also the Bay of E..

Laters. Have a great day folks

You angel SBO that's a lovely thing to say. These are happy times and although there were lilies along the DFW path it's a weight off my shoulders to have no debts other than the mortgage. A lightness of step and a determination not to go back there.

It's also opened up opportunities as I will be changing jobs soon well the emphasis of it certainly with more time to do things that make a social contribution. OK it won't help my MFW goal be any less than 8 years but OH and I feel that living in line with our values is important and now we are DF I feel able to act on this and make the right choices.

    So happy times indeed. :D

And on that note..would love a glass of wine but as on train waiting until I get home! Very :money: considering the week we have had! I will move the £5 I have saved by not having room temperature SB :rotfl: into the MOP to make me feel suitably virtuous ;)
