Good morning,

no snow here , just plain old rain !!!!,

i too have been up since 3.30 couldnt sleep, so i done all my ironing !!!! dw on. wm on, packed lunches done and pots and veggies peeled for dinner !!!!i have work this morning till 11am then a Tesco shop... then .. i think i might grab 40 winks lol !!!!

Morning.

Chucking it down with rain here in Cornwall, No doubt it will turn into snow when it hits the rest of the country.
Last work day today and then 3 days off, with a late start on Monday.
That means I can open a bottle of wine tonight, cosy fire and relax somewhat.
Good e-bay sales last night, so plenty to package up. I think I am actually making a profit.. Need more stock...
Well folks, got to get in the shower.

No snow here yet ... but freezing cold bbbrrrr. It was -4 last night as we got home.

Just having ten minutes on the internet before I have breakfast and go to w**k. It's going to be a long day as I have to attend a meeting this evening so it will be 10 o'clock before I get home. That is if the event isn't snowed off.

We dont have snow either, my 2 are not going to be impressed when they realise all it did last night was rain, after seeing the news last night they are expecting snow as all they went on about was how we are going to have the worst weather of the year today!!!!
I have an easy day today, one LO not coming, the other at nursery this morning, so i have a free 2 hours - normally i do my shopping did on Tuesday) or cleaning, but since doing flylady, ive been keeping on top of it all, so will be able to relax, not sure what i will do with my free time, but will find something to do!!
Right, going to do my paid2clicks before LO gets here, hope everyone has a lovely day - if there is snow out there keep warm and safe (and enjoy it!!!).

No snow here:(
Been up for a while but have just sat here sipping tea and smoking:o
Oh has gone off to canary wharf working so I have some peace for a while:T
My back is still ok ish wish it would mend quickly I want to do some jobs in the house like hoovering but I suppose it can wait.
Think I will bung a stew in the SC in a mo and later on make carrot and corriander soup as per Bargain RZL recepie:T
Will be glad when we have lighter mornings, it's so miserable dark outside.

Morning got up all excited than we will be covered in snow....but no, although we have just had a 30 second flurry but then it stopped, i hope if it is going to come it does before school!!
Feel loads better this morning still sneezing and sniffling but dont feel as bad with it this morning.
If kids do end up at school i plan to deep clean upstairs, and sort out the bill box into somesort of order.
If they end up at home much of the same but with mayhem thrown in!!

Well finally decided on our valentines meal, so this will consist of:

Starter: Bread roll ( dh's idea)
Main: Brisket
Pudding: Tiramisu( never had this before, but will give it a shot)

Lo is in a right mood just now, think someone is tired:rotfl:

Ds2 got school trip today so have to a packed lunch for him.

wow kyle, a bread roll, dh sure knows how to live thought it was frosty here but think i will manage to take the car to work today, might manage asda too, not forecast much snow for us today

Morning all! Had a lovely time with Shez, Rzl, and MushyPeas yesterday. Wasn't as long as we'd planned, due to breakdowns on the railway, and not being able to get a table to eat in the first 3 places we tried. We had plenty to talk about, so hope to meet with you again :T :j :A . I'm even more sorry that I won't be with you on Saturday, but I'll be there in spirit :beer:

Went to see the Sound of Music after that - absolutely fantastic! I was sure that I recognised the South Yorkshire twang of the Mother Superior, then realised it was Lesley Garrett :T She was excellent, especially singing The Hills are Alive at the end of the first half. So whilst everyone else was disappointed not to see *her off the telly* I was delighted to see LG. And if Alexander Hanson (Captain von Trapp, and Mr Samantha Bond) is reading this, if you need a place to stay, you're welcome here, and our choir is always on the look out for more men

I walked back from the theatre to Kings Cross - crisp night, but not cold once you got moving. We dropped into the British Museum on the way back (great loos :rolleyes: ). I've not been in since they did the work to the atrium, but thought it was splendid. Next time we're down to London Town, we'll walk there from Kings Cross and have a better look round (my FIL has a couple of his archaeological finds there, so we always have fun trying to find where they've been moved to ).

Our return train was cancelled, too, but 4 of us shared a bottle of wine, and as we'd all had such a great day, didn't ccare, too much.

Off to w*** today, then it's half-term, so not sure what im w***ing next week.

Must dash, need to make some burgers to chill for later.
