Afternoon everyone,
Really busy morning at work and just popping in before an equally busy afternoon.
Didn't get a lot of sleep last night due to the weather and feeling really droopy today.
Had another row with DS last night about him not wanting to go out much, I don't know whether I should just leave him be and let him sort things out for himself, he is 15.
Any advice would be very helpful as OH doesn't seem to think that it is a problem but it is really getting me down.
Forgotten to get anything out of the freezer for tea so we will be eating vegetarian tonight!
Hugs to LW, Lou, Beth and Taplady's friend.
Have a lovely day everyone.:)0 -
Afternoon All,
Tappers how dreadful, I will remember you all in my prayers.
Moorhen my four are all different. My eldest, DD was out all the time, huge group of friends, loved clubbing, anything to be out of the house (would have gone at 15 if she had been allowed) she's now 25 and a mum and much calmer thank goodness
My second boy sounds just like your son and is a bit like his dad, bit of a loner. Had a couple of friends but never worried about seeing them outside of school. I used to be soo worried but came to realise that was just his nature. He is now engaged and is still the same, not really interested in socialising unless its with his girlfriend, they have couple friends they see but are a really homely couple he is now 24, loves cooking, playing golf all solitary occupations.
My 22 yr old is what I believe they term a player:cool: always a different girl in tow but they never seem to last long and out most wkends with his mates.
My youngest boy at 15 is a bit like our eldest boy, very laid back, goes out occasionally but just as happy at home with us.
I guess what I am trying to say in my long winded way is don't worry, he will find his own way. I did/do encourage both the quieter boys to make plans but am much less stressed about it.
Anyway hope that helps:)Started Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

So tea made, leftover Roast Pork from Christmas along with onion gravy and mash and veg.
Looking forward to this evening, once fed the boys are off to five a side. Will have the remote to myself, but if there is nothing on I'm just reading an excellent Rosie Thomas book called Sun at Midnight. I cannot put down.
Any news yet JulieG. I was thinking of you watching One Born Every Minute:DStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Afternoon all
Another one here who has been awake, due to the weather, most of the night. All wheelie bins blown over - rubbish and recycling everywhere, fence panel blown down and car alarms going off - added to this Charlie my dog was barking at all the noise so it was a bit like a mad house! lol Been tidying the garden up as it was my day off luckily but not sure if fence panel can be salvaged or not - will have a word with next door neighbours and see what they say.
Need to start to do some housework this evening now as all day has been spent on operation clean up lol Oh well keeps me out of mischief! Freezer lucky dip for tea, still using up frozen christmas stuff, so plenty to choose from.
Have a good evening all"Keep smiling, it makes people wonder what you are up to........"Dieting ........... is no piece of cake!!!!:D

Tappers How awful, that is the same age as my DS and it just doesn't bear thinking of losing a child at any age (((((Hugs))))) for you friend and her family.
nmlc Usually if you stand facing your front door your boundary fence is on the left hand side, but that information should be in your deeds and your conveyencer should be able to tell you.
Moorhen my DS is the same and as I understand it, so are his friends. They will find their way x
Had to go and get shopping today and spent £2 in the greengrocers for eggs(FR) and kale (proper kale not the chopped to pieces bits of mainly stalk that they sell in bags in Asda, Sainsbury and the rest) I got 1lb and it will do 2 meals easilyThen we went to Aldi and got some milk, bananas and a few other bits plus we got a snow shovel reduced to £6.99 for DH... We may still get snow in January and February. So we spent £16.98 that was for everything:j
