Virgin Media VIP Package

I have today had my tv drive installed. Got the black box installed.Having looked at it for the past couple of hours i have been reminded of certain old vcrs that i have had in the past. Surely Virgin/Telewest/Ntl could have come up with a better design than this?

Its a 12 month contract.

The calls are not FREE their included in the stonking price package,of £1020 a year.Plus if you make chargeable calls they charge a wopping 6p connection for each call.Plus

"After 60 mins calls will be charged at 3p a min. Redial before 60 mins to avoid call charges. Excludes non-geographic (eg 0845, 0870 etc) mobile, international, premium and internet calls which are charged at standard rates."


Existing customers would do well to read this thread to see how you can cut the costs of using their services.

What happens if you move house during the 12 month contract period? Can you take your package with you or do you have to pay the contract off & start againg with a new 12 months at your new house?

I am on 10mb broadband and my speed test was 3838 kbps. Phoned NTL and the very helpful (not) lady told me that it is a very good speed as it is supposed to be between 850-1280 kbps. I think she is having a joke as the speed test when i was on 2mb was just under 2000. What should i really be getting on the speedtest?

We tested and it came up as well over the 9000kbps for the 10mb broadband.

Does anyone know if setanta sports is included in the £85 deal?
