Virgin Media VIP Package

Nope he bought a share in ITV to stop a merger of Virgin Media (telewest, ntl, virgin mobile, virgin.net, and flextech who own living tv and stuff) with ITV to create some super media thing.
Virgin aren't happy with Sky, but they are still launching today as the new Virgin Media company.0 -
I heard that Virgin.net is giving unlimited downloads (no cap) on all of its broadband now. However, as an existing customer I don't see where this is confirmed on their website.0

I'm on the Tv and Broadband with NTL at the moment, just hope they stick with that
EDIT: ooh I've just noticed the virgin media site has been updated and the 2 for £20 is on there yayNo person is your friend who demands your silence, or denies your right to grow. :kisses2:0 -

There is no download limit and tested my speed on https://www.speedtest.net and came back as 9237kbps:j0 -

Its here http://allyours.virginmedia.com/html/internet/noncable.html
It is unlimited, but theres an acceptable use policy if in virgin's view you are downloading way too much0 -

I just rang and got offered it, but I wanted something lesser.
I'd heard elsewhere about people getting a £28.50 discount, which was more of an interest because I don't really need sports or movies, and I'm happy with 4mb, but the "free" calls would be great.0 -
For £85 a month you get
Talk Unlimited (24 hour calling)
Talk International (cheap international calls)
Talk Mobile (Cheap mobile calls)
Broadband Size: XL (10Mb)
TV Size: XL (Family/Supreme Pack)
All Sky Sports (1,2,3,Extra)/Movies (1-9/10)
V+ HD Box (TV Drive)
Second standard STB
Do you have to pay line rental on top of that?
I'm afraid I agree with fox 2319I just feel someone has to say... £85 per month!!!! It's only the TV (and do you really call anyone that much?)
I am with NTL FREEDOM broadband and phone for £24.99 (who is now part of virgin media) but line rental is on top. My tv is sky at £15 a month - 2mixes. Could not get ntl broadband or package - no cable.
I am seriously thinking about sky package (sky tv, broadband and talk anytime) at £26 a month, and although I still have to pay line rental I would be 13.99 a month better off than I am now.
I must say paying £85 a month for tv and phone to me is really expensive -or is it me?!0 -
£85 per month is absolutely horrendous - I wouldn't shell out that much even if I won the lottery.0

The deal is actually a saving of about £37per month compared to buying them all at the normal price, so it's a good deal in that respect.
No line rental, and all landline-landline calls are free, landline-mobile is cheaper, and international is very cheap (2p/min to USA/Australia etc).0
