My OH should be back from MrS at any time- will see if he got any bargains.
He bought Bacon for 89p from A*sda earlier and last night got a Turkey Joint for 99p, a bag of cabbage & leeks for 10p, a Paella ready meal (£3 for 99p) and a pasta salad for 49p. I bought choccie xmas decs for 10p today for our naughty nighttime snack:p.
I love whoopsies and the challenge of making meals with them and so does my OH.
We don't go out of our way just pop in when happen to be passing at the right time:p. I hate buying full price meat.. and bread. I'm the only one in our house who eats wheat so a bread loaf lasts ages and I won't buy any at full price- 10p and then popped in the freezer, I have paninis, hot cross buns and pittas as well for variety lolGrocery challenge October: £228.28/£250.00 NSD 4 ( not completed)

UOWah !!! ...I am glad I have noticed this thread
I always look at yellow stickered items - Again I only learnt about this through mse
I find the local co op do great deals on fresh bread / croissants etc about 4pm onwards . And the rest is lucky dip from 3pm onwards depending on what they have most of .
It also makes mealtimes more fun as we often pop to T's Or Asda and just have whats on the bargain shelf - saves lots of money ..think I will be adding my finds on here oftenEbay Bag A Day Challenge 2012- :staradmin

I was doing great with yellow stickers towards the end of last year but then lost heart through December due to a compbination, prompted by your thread I'm going to make a point of going tonight as I worked late last night and should be able to slip off a bit early tonight.
Over the Christmas period they used the space that used to be where the reduced food was for other stuff and don't seem to have given it back yet so I'll need to check where it is now!
We don't have a Morrison's near us and our Mr T don't seem to reduce things by very much (plus the only whoopsied item I've ever bought that was 'off' was from there) but our Sainsbugs reduce to 25% of original price at 7pm (used to be 20%.) We've had some great stuff, some we'd have bought anyway, some were a good opportunity to try something new, some were a good opportunity to eat something we'd have baulked at paying the price for (like the £7 paella reduced to £1)
We're quite lucky in that the stuff we like nobody else seemings to want, DH won't eat pork so while everyone else is happily snapping up pork joints we're stock up on the naan breads and accompaniments to curry that they don't want!Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100 -
Hubby looked sainsburys tonight about 6pm but said reductions were rubbish 20-30p off.
Yesterday got few things in spar again
pack ham-17p
new potatoes in butter -25p
so last night hubby ate reduced sausages 66p, new poatoes 25p and tin of beans so approx £1 and fed him twice.
I had reduced rolls with reduced bacon 30p for 12rolls and £1.59 12rashers bacon but this will last several meals so approx cost my 2rolls and bacon 25p.
have £3 so will pop spar tommorow and debating trip to co-op.
had look through freezer today looking bit sorry for itself
all the poultry gone
last mince used.
have defrosted last of reduced fish and 1pack cocktail sausages.
but only got veg and reduced bread in freezer.
so really do need to find some reduced meats so will probably try co-op on sunday.
will try morrisions next week but never have any luck in there.pad by xmas2010 £14,636.65/£20,000::beer:

Hi,
Well I had a very successful night last night in Mr T.
We got 500g lamb for 50p (should have been £5)
Finest beef mince 35p
Sirloin Steak 40p
New Covent Garden Soup 10p
Humous 12p
Quiche 14p
Pastry-sweet and savoury 15p-22p, i couldn't make it for that so have stocked up
Loads of veg-carrots, stew pack, broc, cauli, sprouts, toms, celery, bagged salad 1p-15p
I spent just over £4 and grabbed a couple of 1p clip strip andrex too. At the moment i am limited to going in once a week in the evening as hubby is working away again but this should keep us stocked up til next week-we will just need some milk (69p for a large one from local asian supermarket) and some apples (again from asian supermarket as 4 large gala weighed is only aorund 60p so cheaper than value ones.)
Hope everyone is managing to grab some bragains.xx0 -
