  • Does anyone know if there's a number to phone for help.
The problem is my parents & sister are booking on line with a priority code, we want to go but havn't got a code (never been before) so need to book by collecting the tokens but we need to go to the same park at same time as I need their help with my husband in a wheelchair. We can't go in the same accomodation as them as we need to take our dog and my mum can't stay with the dog.

one thing i learnt was to complain about anything when there and you will maybe get an upgrade
we didnt know any better and put the dirty pillows in the spare room we wernt using and wrote after which was in hindsight pointless lol

  • I have stayed with Thomson Al Fresco and Suncamp through the sun and you will have to pay for the swimming pool (tikibad). Don't forget the passport photo's for your passes for each peron going. The funfair is free along which has some indoor soft play areas if its raining. I have been all times of the year and we have been lucky with the weather but to be honest it's similar to England. We went May 21st last year and had one windy and rainy day the rest of the time we had sun and cloud. The shop onsite is handy and not as expensive as the ones I have had at UK resorts. However there is a lidl and a C1000 ? supermarket in town which are handy.
If you have children that would want to hire go karts etc they are extra as is the go ape style adventure ground and fencing.
Duinrell have their own website might be worth a look.
Wassenaar which is the local town has some nice shops and Katwijk and Leiden are both close by. No toll roads if you come from the Hook of Holland (tesco vouchers are worth x3 the value with stena line) or French ports (about 3+ hours drive dependant on traffic). We have done all three routes. Leiden has a train station and Mcdonalds if the children are missing their happy meals lol. There is a lovely cycle route to Leiden.
Wassenaar beach is lovely lots of sand not much shingle and there are beach cafes etc.
the past few years we have noticed unleaded petrol is the same price as uk but diesel is cheaper.

Have a look at Selectcamp, they are 50% cheaper than Eurocamp etc

When the sun booking website is open, its first page has a space for putting in your priority code and then the spaces for putting in the code words. People just try putting in various 4 letter words in the final space. Each time you hit enter and its the wrong code you just get a message come up that you are missing a code word, and so you try another, and do the same thing over and over and over again. Eventually someone doing this clicks through to the booking your holiday page on the site and so knows that the last word they guessed must be the right one. On the night there tends to be a bit of organised chaos of forum users choosing certain letters of the alphabet to work through.
