what a difference to what you get with the Sun, but they also get first choice too hmmm ...

We'v been going to prestatyn for a few years now and have tried southport once...that was enough....prestatyn is busy and great for the kids but each year it has got dirtier,more run down and shabbier...we are no means snobs and due to hubby being out of work these have been our only option of giving the kids a holiday...but after last year at preststyn we would rather stay at home!!!!!

Hi, I live in Wales and have only been on sun holidays in Wales.
We have been to Hafan Y Mor, Greenacres and Trecco Bay all 3 a few times and have to say Trecco Bay is the best all rounder due to the location and area etc.
I have tried to go to Minehead a few times but have never been successful. Normally there are 7 of us, 4 adults and 3 children. Do you think we would get a better chance if we did the bookings seperatly (5 and 2)?
Also, has anyone been to any of these...
Haven Presthaven Sands, Haven Doniford Bay, Haven Devon Cliffs and Haven Marten Mare and if so what were they like?

Been to doniford bay an Marton mere both excellent parks in my opinion and am goin back to Martin mere this year courtesy compensation from last years holiday and then hopin to go back to Hagerston castle wi sun tokens

We have been to Haven Presthaven sands end of Aug on sun offer - it is a large park but we were located in an ok spot not too far from the activity, we loved the lazy river, the pool with one flume, the direct / easy beach access to a wonderful sandy beach. We would go back.

Haven Marton Mere - we went in Oct with a Sun deal so outdoor water splash zone closed, but indoor pool good but no flume only the space bowl which is too big for my kids. No beach but 10 minutes into Blackpool town centre. This is a smaller park. We were located not too far from the entertainment.

Both of these have swimming pools far smaller than hafan y mor. I think it depends what you are looking for - if it is a summer booking i always want pools / splash zones outdoor as well as inside and good beach access, but if i am booking for oct i look for a good indoor pool with flumes etc. but that is because my kids are water babies and will happily spend all day in the pool, or in the sea depending on the season.

I couldn't find one in today's either even when NOTW was out I not sure they printed one in there either
