YOu can book one of the Sun holidays online if you have received a letter with a priority booking form.

If you have not got a priority booking form then you have to collect the tokens and send them in..

or try booking with this offer:

Thanks. My mum has a priority reference which she won't be using this year so I'll get hold of that. Thanks for the Daily Mail link too - will take a look!

can someone tell me what exactly is a sun perk user?

    Thank you! :)
sun perk was something sun did at xmas you collected token and you could get toys with the tokens.
i think they have the code glow to book via post and code free to book via internet i dont think they have two extra codes. as my friend as glow and she can book early by post.
  • I'm wondering how you stand if you book 2 holidays to the I.O.W. that run one after the other. What I mean is with the ferry? In the past when I've booked the ferry I remember it saying (I think :o) that you can only book through the sun's offer mon - fri or fri - mon?

Can anyone shed any light on this for me please?

There is a thread here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3697927
for people requesting a priority code, I think it is fairer if you were to add yourself to it ;)

i am always completely amazed at the number of new poster who arrive in here asking for priority codes. Posters who have registered with MSE just to ask for a priority code:eek:

Also i am thinking that maybe for the next round of sun / daily mail holidays it might be best to write a Frequently Asked Questions post and to post it at the beginning of the thread or even to ask if it could be a sticky at the top of this forum?

What do others think of this idea?

We could then tell people to read the FAQ and then we would not have to keep answering the same old questions for days on end:)

I am very excited as I have been doing the Sun holidays for years now and love them. However this year we have decided to brave going to France the first time with 3 little kids. Arrrrhh!

Having read through this site and others I have decided to put down my choices as Le Chene Gris or La Croix de Vieux Pont as we don't want to travel too far from Calais on our first trip and would love to do disneyland paris for the day if we can afford it.

couple of questions if anyone has the time to answer?

    - anyone recommend any other parks not too far of a drive from Calais?
    - do you get a choice as to whether they give you a tent or a mobile home?
    - is it cheaper to book the ferry through the sun? I do have loads of tesco clubcard points saved up so I could use these?

    thanks in advance x

We stayed at Le Chene Gris in October and the tents weren't in use so had a nice van.
We used Eurotunnel with Tesco vouchers - trip was only about £90 so cost me about £20/30 in clubcard vouchers. Not sure about ferry costs.

Couldn't agree more. I keep following the thread and its the same questions over and over again - feel like posting 'please read the earlier posts before asking'!
