This is a wonderful site for fishing - some folk go there year after year!
It also has a wonderful pool complex which will keep the kids occupied all day every day!

It's possible to go to Paris on the site's own coach, (you can also go from nearby Soissons by train, which takes about one hour (with trains running late into the evening) for €30 return). The site coach also goes to Disneyland a couple of times a week.

I did sandwiches etc the night before ... we got up washed dressed thrown into the car and off asap
ate fruit and sandwiches for brekkie on our way and got there in good time ... its about an hours drive
take a change of clothes ... food is expensive in disney and dont forget the car park charge !
I bought tickets from france via search and the disney tickets were £29 each

its also close to chateu pierrefonds ( they shoot merlin there) but the pool at the camp is fun
kids will spend all day there and its covered so great in bad weather
the local cora supermarket is in soissons a 10 min drive

there is no TV in the caravans !!! we took 2 laptops with dvds for the kids ,nintendo ds
and coloring books

there is no night time entertainment like the british camps .. there is the bar, few machines ... occasionally a kids disco but err thats it ...
but we made friends easily and we really enjoyed ourselves, took a dvd or 2 for us and the bar sells
daily internet access for 5 euros, so you can go online at the bar area
so I'd been checking emails on my laptop & the little one with her new friends round her would watch scooby doo on the other !
this is all info I wished I had been told before I came the first time
take one of those mini fans, cos if its hot like it was one year we went 30d+ it makes a difference.

both times I got my codes and checked the internet for when the last code word was broken by die hard sun holiday fans usually the day before its issued and managed to book dates for july when school had just finished - about the 19th

Hi, just got my Priority Book Ref by email, as I didn't receive it in the post. I don't have any other information with it. So I wondered if anybody knows when you can start booking from, is it today? Also, if someone could post the link for booking that would be really useful, as I can't find it on The Sun website. Hi can anyone tell me the best park for a 7 night break to euro disney please. I have 2 boys age 6 and 9 so somewhere with a nice pool and entertainment or kids club would be great. thankyou. plus any tips and hints would be great as we have never been on a euro holiday with the sun before. thanks

I am very excited as I have been doing the Sun holidays for years now and love them. However this year we have decided to brave going to France the first time with 3 little kids. Arrrrhh!

Having read through this site and others I have decided to put down my choices as Le Chene Gris or La Croix de Vieux Pont as we don't want to travel too far from Calais on our first trip and would love to do disneyland paris for the day if we can afford it.

couple of questions if anyone has the time to answer?

- anyone recommend any other parks not too far of a drive from Calais?
- do you get a choice as to whether they give you a tent or a mobile home?
- is it cheaper to book the ferry through the sun? I do have loads of tesco clubcard points saved up so I could use these?

Hi, was wondering if somebody wouldn't mind answering a few questions for me?

We last went on a Sun Holiday back in 2006 and I'm sure since then they've been sending us priority booking forms, but we haven't been on one since. We haven't had a form this year, although I did get an email with a free token and option to register on facebook to receive a booking form.

The codewords are listed on this thread however the booking form states that the tokens must be attached. Am I right to think that there is some way of booking without attaching tokens?

If somebody could help me this would be much appreciated! We didn't go on a proper holiday last year and money is tight this year with child #2! Would be great to get away for a few days and these Sun Holidays seem like the perfect way to do so without spending a fortune.

YOu can book one of the Sun holidays online if you have received a letter with a priority booking form.

If you have not got a priority booking form then you have to collect the tokens and send them in..

Hi you can book from this tuesday the 17th though in the past it may open on monday the 16th keep an eye on this forum as people guess the last code and as soon as the booking opens they let us no hth :beer:
