Ditto, scrap my previous spreadsheet analysis!!0 -
Got a letter this morning from YBS saying that my E-ISA has been set up and that they're going to write to me again when they receive the cheque from the Halifax.
Also received a letter on saturday from the Halifax confirming that my ISA with them has been closed.
So far, so good!

I had a letter from Alliance & Leicester dated 13th February saying my funds had been forwarded to YBS, so far nothing is showing in the YBS account, so that is 9 days. How long should I leave it before phoning them?0

I've posted above that they currently have a 10 day backlog.
If you ring them, they won't be able to tell you anything specific about your own transfer - only that they're currently working on those transfers received on a certain date. You may, however, be able to 'second guess' when they'll get round to yours based on the date they give you.
Personally, I wouldn't bother ringing them until at least next Wednesday (ie, working day 10).0 -

My only 'gripe' with YBS (and this isn't really anything to do with internet banking, and probably won't affect you with your ISA) is that, because they use NatWest as their collection account, BACS transfers out take a full 5 days to appear in your external accounts (ie action Monday, arrive Friday). However, and this is strange, transfers in can take only 2-3 days and they sometimes credit your account on a Saturday!!0 -
My transfer has finally been credited to my YBS account it took 12 days from when the A & L account was closed. I have emailed them to ask why it has taken so long and asking about my loss of interest which is appro. £70. My husbands account was done at the same time so he has lost the same amount. Makes it wonder if it is worth changing in the 1st place.0

Have you read my post #22 above?
Also, when you receive your receipt slip through the post, you'll see that they have credited your account on the day they received the A&L cheque. This is the date you will start to receive interest from.0 -
Has anyone opened an account with Icesave online, I opened one on 5th February and still haven't got my login details. How long winded is that.0
