Do You Wash your Hands After Using the Toilet?
Comments

How will it clean? Vaccum cleaning does not clean thoroughly and how many times in a day would one clean the floor. Also, I find cleaning such mess very stressful. My DC1 got it on her shoes once and I was not able to look at it while cleaning. I tried and then just binned her shoes. Not very MSE but I do feel very strongly about it.
And, you are right. I am extremely obsessive and should seek help as it makes day to day living very stressful but I was wondering about the people not feeling the need to clean hands after touching dirty toilet flush.
Soap and water is all that's needed but you do need help if you couldn't deal with dirty shoes and had to throw them out.
I totally agree with washing hands after flushing the toilet.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

I think you might need some help, its not normal to be so horrified by dirt on shoes that you throw them out. I can't imagine how stressful ordinary life must be for you, that can't be a nice way to live.
I sweep and the mop my floors once every couple of days. How clean do they need to be for you to walk on them?0 -
It's a plane, but I think it's a bit of showing off to talk about having one.scheming_gypsy wrote: »ok, you've got me. What the hell is a DC1 ?
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -

I meant the dog poop on the shoes, not dirt. I can cope with dirt and mud.
Life is very stressful as I have various rules about cleaning, which is obviously very difficult for the whole family as they need to abide by these otherwise I can not cope. You can not imagine the extent of the problem. I need help but not sure if the GP would understand either! I have learnt to live with my problems but I need to change for the sake of my children. I can not subject them to my issues and they are growing up fast.0 -

Go to your GP, they will definitely understand and should be able to help. OCD has been recognised and treated for a long time now. I'm sure you wouldn't want to pass this on to your children.
I meant the dog poo too, most people still wouldn't throw the shoes out.0 -
i must admit i couldnt clean dog poop of my kids shoes either, i would have been sick, as it smells vile. i made my kids clean their own shoes, or they phoned their grandad to do it:oloves to knit and crochet for others0
