Got home at 18.40 so pretty good considering it was a Friday, tired after this week and so glad it's the weekend. Went to bed early so up awake early. Been out for breakfast Weatherspoon's, paid paper bill and done the shopping. Used our £25 mail Tesco voucher on two bottles of Cava for £12 and rest of normal bill. Got a MS later in town again so will have late lunch early dinner then.

Need to sort the lawn out but a bit wet still. Invited to join some EBay home zone where you have to reply to something every two weeks and IOU can win money paid into your Paypal account. I was accepted so will go and reply via laptop as typing on IPad is a bit slow for me.

Also got a £25 Amazon voucher for a survey chat thingy I did, got £26 in Topcashback I could turn into A,azon vouchers and then treat myself to a new handbag. Not sure could always use it for Christmas or birthday resents.

Diet not too bad had big breakfast and lunch but no dinner (unless you count the packet of M&M peanuts I ate driving back last night.

Been quite productive this weekend, MS done and written up, made myself available for more from another site. Done the back lawn, front lawn looks ok. Played some really good golf to my handicap today for a change.

Chicken carcass on stow to make stock and prepped chicken and chip for DH, I shall have veg crudit!s with humus low carb ish.

Need to phone the pet insurance on Monday to say we are making a claim meds for Thomas as over £100 but that will now last for quite some time.

Away Thursday night and Gym Monday and Tuesday then massage Wednesday so will need to fit in gym session somehow. Maybe go early Wednesday before massage.

Going to watch Strictly and chill out hopefully have an early uninterrupted nights sleep.

HelenDaveKids thanks for popping in, surveys do take forever this £25 one was a one off web chat so a really good one.

Survived Circuits with my friend yesterday actually it was really good almost like working out with Darren certainly as hard. I will defo do that again it was really good. Tonight its working out with Darren then Wednesday I got a sports massage at 7pm so will do 5.30 workout then go straight there.

Looking at sorting out DH's birthday and present so need some help here. I am doing a party for 15 with the coach and entrance to a dog racing night with a 3 course meal. People can just pay for their own drinks so will cost me a fair bit. I do want to give him a present but to be honest he has everything and I was thinking why don't I just book a nicer game drive/hotel package in South Africa.

We have £1000 saved in our holiday account which will easily pay for the 2 nights game drive so I could just pay for the hotel at Sun City. Alternatively we could book a game drive that is £1000 instead of £500 but is not a nature like (outside loos etc) and then spend less on the hotel in Sun City. I have emailed them and asked what package they can come up with. A 7 nights package that I like the look of incl car hire which we dont need and I only want to do 5 nights so hopefully it will come in on a reasonable amount.

Do you think that is OK not to buy him an actual present as such? I might get him a token on but really the party and hotel in SA should be enough for a 50th shouldnt it?

His brother who is coming over with his girlfriend as a surprise is so cross that his dad has told DH about this. It is nothing to do with me luckily and I must say I am finding it hard not to tell DH that my sister and mum is coming over. He would be so exited if he knew I am sure my sister has not been here for 6 years.

Anyway enough waffle will make a cup of tea and get on with work.

Don't worry about the surprise being partly-ruined. Despite SIL knowing I was organising something for her birthday last week she was still surprised by the exact guest list when she arrived... so you will get to see his face and enjoy the fact that you organised it!

Thanks mortgagereductionnovice I am sure he will be pleased although he does hate surprises.

Got a reply from SunCity they can do us 2 nights in a private game reserve and then 3 nights in SunCity for £1500 which is not bad as the private game reserve is double the price of the one I had found and a lot lot nicer. BIL has just told me the 17th December is a bank holiday so would make sense to only stay 4 nights and will save a bit. As its an all incl package cannot really use it as a present for DH but I think SunCity does other things such as hot air balloon rides etc.

Still not heard back from the other coach company will call them and book.

Weigh in a gym bad but on 2.2 lb rubbish but my weight in the morning on my own scales were the same. My shoulder hurt today so won't go to the gym got a massage booked this evening that should hopefully sort it out.

Going to a town where there is a LongTallSally this afternoon just have to have a look. Wild like a nice outfit for DHs birthday. Might even see if I can get into a size 14 again.

Back from Long Tall Sally, shop is closing down so is the Brighton one that is not good. What was good was that there was a pair of size 14 trousers I actually fitted into (I have the size 16 already) price £45 but they were on the clerance rack. Went to the till £15 what a bargain might need to loose a tiny bit more for them to be perfect. Also found the perfect jumper/tunic dress to wear for DH's birthday, £50 which is :eek: but I usually dont spend that much.

Booked the coach for the birthday party £225 has gone up so wish I had booked it straight away but still this is a big company and they are very professional. :T

Sports massage very painful but shoulder feels a lot better he also worked on my lower back which was very tight I think it must have been from when I fell down the stairs about 4 week ago might check back on here when it was so I can tell him next week. Totally forgotten about that as my shoulder problem only started last week but its very deep so could have come from that.

Quidco paid £11 today so that's in the holiday fund might be able to pay the total hotel bill for the trip out of there. Going to stay in Bristol tonight right by Cabot Circus so will take IPad and hopefully get some check ins on Quidco. Only pence but it all adds up.

On the scales this morning said 81.1 that is more than 1lb off so not sure why I did so badly at the gym weigh in.

Got my veg box this morning got a butternut squash never cooked one of those but like the. Roasted a harlequin squash last night with hearts and garlic that was out o this world loved it. I do think they are high in carbs so not too good for the diet. 4th veg box this one so free.

Need to leave at 9am and as I have not packed need to get up. Hope you all have a lovely day.

Thanks ammonite sadly no we didn't win it my BIL lives in South Africa (my husbands family went out there in 1972) but all came back to the UK bar BIL. We are out there for 3 1/2 weeks and don't need to pay for hotels so this is out little treat.

Just booked tee time on the Gary Player course in Sun City, super :eek: but hopefully enjoyable. Could not get the lesson to work out so that will be DH present :eek:price too.

Got back from Bristol just after 5.30 but I did leave early was emailing. SIL and calling her by the name of BILs previous girlfriend so thought I better get home. Not good really.

Having a chilled out evening no dinner for me had this during the day so far
Breakfast fresh fruit and porridge with skinny latte

Then

Sandwiches with French fries
Two chocolate chip cookies (home made)
Scone with clotted cream.

Stuffed so will not eat anything else I hope.
