Fab a fellow gym goer which classes do you like I love Zumba and Pump but did contemplate Circuits but not sure I am fit enough.

My favorite is Aeroblast closely followed by Combat. But I'm also a regular attender of HB&T, Jam (with a 5km treadmill run or Eiffel Tower on the Versa Climber afterwards because Jam doesn't work me hard enough!) and Balance (which I do as a second class of the day after a more cardiovascular class). Yep, I'm a bit of a gym bunny. I really missed my membership over the summer - I thought I'd enjoy running outside but it turns out I prefer group classes with loud music!

WOW I am impressed puts me totally to shame. I did to Zumba this morning and played 9 holes yesterday so I have not been too slack this week.

Rain and more rain today but it was lovely yesterday so got some pots planted up with Winter bedding plants (got some cheap ones as they were a bit past their best) plus some nice Pansies they remind me of an old lady I used to know in Denmark. She got me interested in gardening and I remember spending many hours in her kitchen garden when I was very young.

Didn't do the grass as it did not need it but with this rain who knows.

Cooked breakfast at Weatherspoons two days in a row but DH likes it and it gets him easting something solid. I just skip lunch to make up for it. Been good with the diet, stuck to eating earlier and not too many carbs.

Got some picture hooks in town and now my dinning room looks like this I am pleased with that really.

Plan was to wash the windows in the inside today but as its raining and so dark its quite difficult. Friend is here watching the F1 with DH I dont really bother with it find it a bit boring. Used to like it but now I tend to play golf on a Sunday so hardly ever around.

Listed 7 nail varnishes on Ebay, really dont like any of them so will be glad to get rid of them. Friend teased me with how many I have now got so will be good to thin out so they all fit into two bags.

Hope you are all haivng a nice Sunday, need to go down to the kitchen and suss out how to turn my left over roased vegetables into a soup. Google is my friend I should think.

That's funny... one of my mini-challenges on the 'not buying unnecessary toiletries' thread is to be able to zip up my nail varnish bag! But just one bag. OH suggested buying a larger bag!

Sounds like we are kindred spirits indeed. Don't buy a larger bag you will just end up with more. I bought one for that holds 32 and 3 smaller one the large one was full but the small ones I might use as presents as they are lovely.

Horrid rain here just had to unload the car and load it with other stuff and got soaked. I really need to leave in a minute but thought I would do a quick update first.

Looked to change DH phone its an HTC and pretty rubbish and far too complex for him. Contract up in March so thats no good but we do have an old phone that would suit him trouble is it will not charge. Found a battery on Amazon £3.10 free delivery fingers crossed. Will flog the HTC even if its only worth £20.

No gardening done yesterday but lovely to see my friend and foodwise I was good. Scales said 83 this morning but the official weigh in is not until Thursday with Darren.

Need to book a hotel for tomorrow night will do that when I get back. Looks like Hotels.com is too expensive shame as they do the 1 in 10 freee plus 10 or 12% cashback.

Better move or I shall be late.

Meeting went well still got some preparation for tomorrow big monthly meeting at HQ. Had to use laterooms but got one with a gym and 5% cashback is not to be sniffed at.

Downloaded a new game/bet blocker on the laptop seems this one is very discreet and its not too expensive. When the 8 days are up I shall definitely pay for it. Will cut all gambling out for me as I only gamble online.

Still need to do some work so not motivated and the kitchen keeps calling me. Re-downloaded MyFittnessPal and looking at my stats from 1 year ago I really havent move that much. Feel like I have lost weight recently as my trousers feel much looser which got to be a good thing. Having roast chicken tonight with veg and DH can have it with potatoes. Following my no carbs rule.

Also managed to book my detist appointment plus Thomas back into the vets his allergy on his lips has got really bad eventhough he is on seroids. Realy annoying so we now have to go down the expensive treatment route for the long term but luckily he is fully insured.

In a hotel at HQ should really go to the gym but think I will go tonight instead. Had planned to go last night but had some work to do (my own fault ) had forgotten to do it and I wanted to watch the new Martin Lewis Show and the GB bake Off.

Watching the news right now feel sorry for all the people flooded out. Horrible really wouldnt wish that on anyone. Hope all my fellow MSE'rs are ok.

Well better hit the shower then breakfast so I can get early into the office. Diet doing we'll only had soup last night but did eat the bread roll. Also got a free chocolate which I ate and I don't even like KitKat so that was silly.

Will be good today and do my best to hit the gym when I get back. Pump is at 6pm so it really depends when I can ge away from here as its a 3 1/2 hour drive back.

Been set a challenge at work need to tweet more and write blogs. Winner in both category will get a bottle of champers. The rest of the team don't really bother so I will make an effort as I am pretty good already.

  • I know doesn't the flooding look horrible and so many of them are not long back in their houses since the last bout of flooding.

Three reminders for you: gym, tweet, blog

We weren't as bad for flooding as I thought we might, the usual places were fine but other areas were terrible. Also had some landslides which shut the roads into work this morning but they have cleared them all now. Landslides not as bad as the one I saw in the news earlier though. That this morning and yesterday morning next door's trampoline was in our garden, hopefully tonight will be a lot less eventful!

Thanks for the reminder I did tweet when I got back yesterday took a long time in the rain but had a quick 15 min at home preparing some chips for DH then off to the pump class. Lovely to have Lee back he used to be our instructor before the gym changed owners.

Ajmoney thanks for stopping by hope you area doesn't get more rain. Landslides sounds scary, are you on the coast as well? Also good luck with the swimming.

Got my first veg box this morning the recipes looks good and so does the veg. Going out for dinner tonight so won't be until tomorrow I get to cook with it. Going to try the mo cook courgettes with pesto as I have loads of home made pesto. The purple carrots look lovely.

On a more annoying note I got my Wii game from game.com but there is no controller with it. I am sure the advert said it was incl so emailed to ask. Cost 10p a min to call them no thanks. I will return it and buy a brand new game plus controller from play.com for £27 surely that is much better value than the £20 I paid for a second hand game only.

The Amazon order for then Nintendo game storage is fine no problem.

Off for a whole day event got to run a sweet stall, do a talk plus pay for lunch (well work is) . Should be good for raising our profile.

Weighing with Darren tonight wish me luck I have been mostly good. I promise I won't eat any sweets today.

I have been lurking for a while! Yes we are on the Scottish coast, the weather is lovely this morning and I hope it stays that way for a while now.

Good luck with your weighing, that is another reason why I am doing the swimming I just wish the results were quicker!
