    Morning :)

Another £3 from survey site withdrawn waiting to hit paypal, still need to work out ebay sales so can withdraw the lot. Another £3 odd on quidco should be paid tomorrow.

VW finance payment out today so another £140 to knock of :)

Got OH doing bingo via quidco. We did william hill which was deposit £10 and get £21 cashback so £11 profit, he got really lucky and won £100 so £111 profit :D He has just done ceasars bingo, deposit £10 get £45 cashback, waiting for cashback to be confirmed it has been tracked but won some money so already £9 odd in profit :) Only small amounts but is all helping. Now scouring to see anymore that he can do that we will have a guaranteed profit. Keeps him quiet in the evening and as I do most of the other hard work with the finances its good that he is doing his bit :)

Horse had trainer on Tuesday, did some long reining for the first time, I have never long reined in my life but was very simple and she took to it well, only did about 20 mins but very successful :D She is coming back in a few weeeks to do some more, hope to get OH to take some pictures, not rushing it as we have plenty of time.

    Morning, tfi friday :D

Feeling a bit bleurgh today, stupid interest on credit cards, just wiped out all my last few weeks overpayments, grr, but suppose be grateful at least I have made those payments so not increased. Need to up the ante more to get rid of these darn things. Will be hard because of Christmas, so far have £20 in my presents account  so need to be inventive and find ways around this. Not going to be spending much just a family and a few close friends. Think got cards and wrapping paper left over from last year so that helps. :)

Looking at budget next month as payday today couple of good and bad things already. No hairdresser as already have money so £30 saved but having horse trainer twice so thats £40 unbudgeted so only £10 to find. Min payment of credit card is going to be £17 more than budgeted. So £27 to find to balance books, but have "surplus" in account of around £50 so this covers this but does leave me near the edge of my overdraft :( dont include this total in my debts but it is £850 and use around £600 of it each month but only charges me approx £5 a month so not too bad but would like to get rid of this, but concentrating on other debts first. Dont have an overdraft in joint a/c and OH only has £50 reserve which he doesnt use so not as bad as could be.

Got £405 sitting in my a/c for fire fitting, hoping it will only be around £300 so then can send rest to card, or possibly use for xmas pressies, watch this space, fire gets fitted next week and then can re-assess.

  • I sympathise on the credit card interest - Barclaycard sent me one of those 'helpful' information sheets with my statement this month that tells you how much you've spent, how much you've paid off and how much interest they've charged. The interest amount would have bought me a Heather Moffett Vogue Deluxe saddle with £250 to spare!

Hello Golden Goose, yes horse :) Well a small one, well not so small anymore around 14.2 at the moment, but only 18 months, please do drop by anytime usually ramble about the horse to myself!

Moneywise, £14 from paypal withdrawn and has hit a/c so has been transferred to the card. Spent about £30 on OH's card yesterday on fire bits, but should have enough to pay of next week. A NSD today and going to list a few ebay items later :)

Got a competition win of a book in the post on friday so will have a read and if no good will sell on. Fire is being fitted weds and see what we have left from the savings transfer to send to the card.

Have set up ISA for OH so better savings rate, one more a/c to open and then we will all be set up.

Need to go food shopping later just fresh bits, fruit and bread, have some tesco vouchers so shouldnt need to spend too much. Which is good as have about £30 in budget.

Morning world, feeling bleurgh :( Stupid cold and lots of other bits going on. OH has hurt his knee something to do with poss torn ligament so a fun few hours spent at A&E yesterday. He has to go back on Monday am for scan. So yesterday not working for him so shorter pay but he has gone back today on crutches.

I have a stinking cold and didnt help last night that the horses broke the fence down and was out there at 6.30 trying to bodge it with some electric tape a pair of scissors and a torch! Will ahve to do a proper job on sunday. Oh and battery is flat. And I dont think it was my horse breaking the fence one of the others so going to ask them to help me pay for it!

Small shop on Monday turned into a massive shop £243.82 to be precise  So that went on the card so now standing at £3197 :( But absolutely tonnes in freezer so apart from xmas turkey and few bits of fruit should see us well into the new year. But out of that we did buy 2 xmas pressies as well. £25 for some tiny lego star wars toy  they definitely know how to rake in the money, and that was on special offer too.

So good things :rotfl:Loan payment out today so another £148 of total, £9.50 from paypal sent to card, ebay has a few bids on so will make a few pounds at the weekend.

Had my fire fitted yesterday and looks good. So I have £155 remaining from the money transferred. Was going to send this to the card but will use for hopefully rest of Xmas shopping, then wont accrue anymore debt. There is £18 in presents a/c but will leave this in there so with the £10 a month currently depositing in there will have enough for presents and hopefully some of xmas next year.

Morning so glad its friday, this cold is getting worse, grrrrr. I feel like carp, totally blocked up, headache and stinking sore throat :( Still up at 7 to do the hoss though, who'd have animals hey. Tap was frozen so hope it is defrosted later.

OH still hobbling around so is helping a bit but cant do much but at least he is working.

Fog light decided to stop working last night, but took to garage this morning and they replaced for free :)

Totally forget to take battery for electric fence home last night so must do tonight. Lovely and frosty this morning, put hay out for horse but she didnt want it, her choice! Need to get some more hage for horse, going to try and get it saturday afternoon if I have time or sunday be rush job as got trainer at 10 for 1hr and place shuts at 1. Such fun

Meant to be xmas shopping tomorrow hope I feel better as would be good to do it and get it out of the way.

Took £50 cash out of bank last night, £10 to takeaway as felt so rough, £20 to farrier, £10 to OH for general spends so £10 to use for car parking etc. But this was out of the savings from fire, so now £105 to spend for xmas. Also have £20 in presents a/c so could use this too.

£7.10 from quidco this morning so have paid to the card.

    Just a quick moan!

OH got a letter through from his credit card provider, Barclaycard, he currently owes around £1500 on it, been making min payments (as been concentrating on other higher interest debts). His current credit limit is £4,900 which is I believe too high but leaving it as it is.

So the letter received states they are raising his credit limit, he is going to call saying he doesnt want it, but whats the limit now, £7,900  Seriously they have just thrown another £3k at him just like that.

Talk about irresponsible lending, We are lucky in that we are responsible borrowers and are trying not to spend outside of our means and working hard to reduce debt but seriously if you were slightly blind/uneducated in these matters then you would think great what can I spend it on, £8K, imagine the holidays you could have

Then people wonder why these problems exist, people get into debt, its oh so easy

Still feel like carp with cold/flu OH still hobbling around on crutches so cant drive or help out much so having to do everything in house, work, horse thoroughly fed up. He has been to apptmt this morning and booked in for scan but that could take few weeks so could be out of action till then so happy !!!!!!! xmas me doing everything again :( Hope he can drive soon or will be really annoyed. I have long xmas break, dont work between xmas and new year and will be peed of if I have to run OH to work as wont get a proper break and really need one.

Moneywise spent £85 of allocated xmas money, have £21.50 in cash left so need to get a few more pressies, about £50 on the credit card so not doing to badly., 80% will be in budget.

Cancelled horse trainer this weekend as felt rubbish so £20 saved so will use this elsewhere. Sold 2 items on ebay, should make about £5, one ready for posting today. Re-listed the rest, 1 with a bid on already :)
