£10 from survey site landed so have sent to the credit card. New boots that I have ordered dont fit so will send back so that should be £65 refunded to the card, still need to get some boots so need to keep looking around.
Day of tomorrow, new bed being delivered so have lots of tasks to be doing at home, exciting things like defrosting the freezer! Going to see if a friend wants to come round for lunch and then to see the hossie
Made scrummy cake last night, had some pears that were really soft and going off so used them up and made a pear, chocolate and cinamon cake, adapted from a BBC Good food recipes, ate half last night with OH whilst it was still warmDebt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Morning world
Nice and quiet at the moment, just one of my nice colleagues, evil one in later.
So day off yesterday lovelyNew bed arrived, was lovely so much space last night. Freezer defrosted, friend round for lunch and then we played ponies. And had time to cook a lovely roast and then finished the cake in the evening
Have printed out a sheet and stuck it on the wall at home, gives me and the OH a visual representation of where we are to get to debt freeness. Each part of the sheet represents a different debt and a box for each payment, so e.g. loan is paid of at £148 a month so have x number of boxes which equal to £148 and how long is left, so each time pay of £148 cross of the box so all the empty boxes show how much is left. As the debt stands at prob around £28K thats a lot of empty boxes at the momentBut is another incentive to help me stay motivated as have to look at it everday. Half of one box is crossed of already as £5 min payment came out.

Hi BB - just catching up.
Cake sounds yummyand good idea about putting up debt sheet. that should help OH stay motivated.
How is baby hoss doing? I think you mentioned you were thinking of new trainer but cant remember if you found another one. I dont think I would have energy at the moment for a baby one although would love one. My 20 year old keeps thinking he is 3! I have taken him off the painkillers for a bit as it seems he is just about sound again but acting like a hooligan in his small paddock with the shetland!0 -
I agree, we definitely need a hoss update
LAM2011, I think it's the cold snap - my 19 year old trashed the top section of his field yesterday by hooleying around...and the git watched me tread all the divots back in in the morning before sneaking up there in the afternoon and trashing it again! It's now roped off as a sheep-feeding space and he's sulking0 -
LAM and Caz thanks for dropping by. I hope the debt board as its now called will help OH, here's hoping  Got some toilet cleaner for testing yesterday and have been notified that have some biscuits on their way too for testing, my life doesnt get more exciting than this :rotfl:
Wee pony update (or not so wee pony anymore!) as requested. She is growing way too fast, hope she has a rest over the winter period. She is about 14.2ish now, and at only 18 months  She just fits into a 5'6 rug, they will do for this winter. Her parents were both 15.1, but thinking she may be over 16hh, after years of riding a 13.2 will be different :rotfl: No new trainer booked wanted to charge me £300 and with a shortfall of about that each month and £28k of debt just cant afford it yetOH has been coming down more to help me and she is improving. With a carrot yesterday managed to bribe her to walk through a clear puddle in the field, now just to make her walk through the muddly puddle by the gate, this may take longer
Pic attached this is her on Sunday morning, about 8am while it was still frostyDebt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Sounds like she's going to be a big 'un
Have you read any of Richard Maxwell's books? I had From Foal to Full Grown when I had a youngster, but his later one is supposed to be better: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Train-Young-Horse-Richard-Maxwell/dp/0715327992 Might be worth seeing if your local library can order it for you to see if it would be helpful.

Spent £10 on bingo yesterday but get £15 cashback so guaranteed £5 profit, also won £3.09so £8 total profit. Searching for other bingo offers now and use mine and OH's account to get as much as possible.
Also spent £240 on 3 pairs of boots  Probably end up sending them back again as struggle to find boots that fit but heres hoping. Had 10% discount code so £26 taken of already and £7 tracked on quidco so all helps.
A NSD weekend need to go to the tip to get rid of the old bed and some more random rubbish. Also as free listing must get some more stuff on ebay. Have 1 bid on ebay, 99p but all helpsDebt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

She is gorgeous BB. I am sure you will manage on your own with her. A lot of it is keeping to the same ground rules all the time and she has probably bonded with you now. Also you can save the money for boots rather
have a good weekend0 -
Caz thanks for the link re the book will go and have a look, definitely may be worth getting. LAM I think she has bonded with me as she recognises me for brekkie and when I come down in the evening. But she definitely pushes her luck with me, knows what buttons to push, grrr. When putting her night rug on she always bites me when I do the front straps up, doesnt do it with anybody else!! Bloomin hoss!
More bingo played today, £10 deposited, £20 bonus played through, £8.42 winnings should get £30 cashback so £28 profitJust waiting for it to be validated and even better when it pays out, hoping for the end of the month
