Morning, TGI Friday and last day at work for a week :j

Horse trainer had to cancel, so trying to book in after hols. Spendy day though, spent £300:eek: Bought new cases for hols and some new trainers/boots for me and OH, but have bought very good quality ones so will last for ages. Used £30 of vouchers from survey site too so that helped. So thats all of the money from my anuty used up but it has been put to good use and useful didnt have to break into budget for these items. :)

So spendy day again today, going to get cash for holiday spends and need to fill car up with fuel. Have budgeted holiday spends and hoping to be frugal and take sandwiches etc when out and not to use all holiday spends so can come back and use some for debt repayment. Watch this space :D

    Morning world :)

Back from holiday and back to work today  Holiday was ok but have decided men are mostly selfish creatures and very lazy. There were strops and tantrums thrown about, the only ones that didnt were my mum, me and my 2 year old nephew :rotfl:I wasnt at work, it could have been worse, it rained a bit but wasnt awful, just was at the bottom of the pile most of the time :( But hey ho time to move on forget about it all and get back to reality.

Yesterday was a lovely day, spent time with hoss, caught up on washing and chilled in the garden for a bit.

So moneywise. Am now £60 from my overdraft limit  But I havent used my holiday spends fun which stands at £130 as keeping this in case I need to top up joint account if OH doesnt have any work. I only used the credit card twice this week, once to buy some concert tickets for november and once for some cushions for home (shark ones :D) but very small so currently only £50 outstanding on this card.

OH share payout should land soon so hopefully that will clear all his outstanding credit card. Am currently £325 short in joint account next month so need to transfer some savings across if OH doesnt get work to pay some extra money in. Horse trainer booked and have funds for this. Also have around £50 in paypal and outstanding survey money to be paid so when this lands will transfer to joint account to pay bills. Due some money back from lady at field who owes me for some hay so this can go towards next horse food bill.

Money definitely getting tighter but getting there slowly hopefully and debt is slowly reducing, just need to up the game a little bit to get rid of it faster :)

£40 from survey site landed in paypal, just need to check what else I have in there and withdraw. Also just asked to redeem a further £30 from survey sites but will probably take a month for that to apppear but all adding up.

Feeling a bit crappy today what with family goings on on holiday and stupid arguements with OH just making me feel rubbish and a bit bottom of the pile and feeling resentful. Maybe time to make a new plan in life so seeing what there is to do and how to get round it somehow.

Sorry you're not having an easy time at the moment. I think continually looking at the finances can be very wearing. What do the two of you have planned for when you're debt free? Can you start saving for a super holiday just for the two of you?

Hello lovely, must be something in the air as a number of us have got entries in our diaries about relationship problems. I agree with Piq, constantly looking at finances can be wearing and I think can have an impact on other aspects of your life. I also think, when considering getting one part of your life in order, you want to sort out everything that is wrong with your life. Hope things improve soon. x

Morning, thanks Piq and Granny for your kind comments, sorry not been over to anyones diaries recently, but do read and cheering on from the sidelines :)

Had a better day yesterday went out for lunch with OH so not a NSD £16 for lunch and then £6 on slug pellets. Then OH cooked dinner later did hoss who was quite well behaved and a relaxing evening.

Finances, the scary bit  Now back from hols got head round things and settled. Bit of a shock this morning as car finance came out today, dont get paid till friday so would have taken me over my OD limit, so luckily had emergency savings from where I had the PPI payout so transferred that across so shouldnt incur any charges. So another £138 of the debt total and have budgeted for next months payment in my salary this month. £30 hairdresser budget not needed this month as already got that in cash saved, but we are up to the paralympics so will use that for travel expenses. Horse trainer this month not budgeted but have money in hoss savings. So far am £300 short in joint account this month for bills. Have a lot of food in so that can be cut down so say £50 saved. Have withdrawn £55 from paypal so only £200 to find. OH is due his share payout this month wanted to pay of his outstanding CC but dont think that is possible. So £200 of that to joint account to cover bills, £200 odd to his account to pay his bills and the rest to the card. Next month will be £900 short in joint account if OH doesnt have any work or JSA but heres hoping and keeping things crossed. I do have money in savings which would ideally go towards kitchen extension but will have to be used for bills, no point having savings for new kitchen if cant afford the mortgage. Will get there somehow.

Will check spreadsheets tonight and do an update of my totals/signature to see if I have managed to make a small dent in it all

So a quick look at paypal, lots of survey money has landed, so have withdrawn £68 :D

Checked joint account and with this paypal money am £260 short. This doesnt include any savings on groceries so will hopefully be able to cut this down so £200 to find ish. Time to re-start ebaying I think as havent done any for ages and have a massive pile ;)

    Round up of figures:-

This consists of May figures to todays figures

NWG CC - £84.98 - Now £77.60 drop of £7, had paid of but used once on hols, can pay of this month hopefully
    NWP CC - £2,955.62 - Now £2867 drop of £88 :)
    NW Loan - £8,844.60 - Now £7317 drop of £1527 :j
    Parents - £8,650.00 - Now £8650 - currently on hold
    VW Finance - £6,466.26 - Now £6036 - drop of £430 :D
    Sofa - £1,235.95 - Now £1145 - drop of £140 :)
    Bcard - £0 - now £733.58 :(

So new total including Bcard is £26,882.11 so an overall drop of £1,352.30 since 17 May. This is great but could be a lot better. If OH can get work then his share payout will clear the Bcard so that would be £700 better of the total which is much more like it but I dont think this will happen quick enough so will have to use some of this money to pay the bills.

Debt reduction this month will consist of £148 to loan, £30 to NWP, £30 to Sofas and hopefully pay of in full the NWG card. Also we wont need to increase any of the costs at all. Slowly but surely getting there, would be ideal to get there a lot faster but tough when only me earning full time.

Morning, its friday and pay day :D

Got enough in my own account to pay bills and reduce overdraft by £200 :)

OH is working today so that is good, hopefully he will have some work next week too, but only short week as he has his grandads funeral on tuesday. OH should be due his share payout today so will need to check his bank tomorrow and see what we can do.

OH had a go at our broadband supplier as no connection so they have reduced our bill this month so have £20 odd spare budget in joint account so now down to £239 to find, this doesnt include the reduction groceries but getting it down slowly :D
