Morning world.
Back at work after a major spendy day yesterday and in more debt and now overbudget
£250 deposit put down on van yesterday, balance of £4,822 to be paid on saturday. This is from savings and includes one years road tax. Taking out £5.5k of finance which with interest is total of £6,466.26 so new signature to be done.
£118 then spent on new lock for house to satisfy insurance requirements after break in, slight overkill possibly but no one can moan. This was unfortunately paid out of my newly cleared overdraft
£580 being paid out today for car insurance for new van, coming from savings. Just checked budget for next month and will possibly be over by £500  So definitely using my overdraft again. Things that may help this are £50 set aside for hoss food, OH earnings from last week should cover this, £30 for mobile, still in credit so shoudlnt need this, £30 for hairdresser, already have money set aside so thats £110 straight away saved
Next month will possibly be only £150 over budget but again £60 from hairdresser as only 8 weeks and from mobile should be saved again and again possibly £50 for hoss food as will try and stock up this month as OH has enough funds to cover it and will not need anymore.
£5.39 from quidco landed today not doing anything with this, leaving in account to minimise overdraft. A min payment went out today for my credit card. Put the horse wormers on the card, a years worth but with min payment now owe £84.98 on this, think have around £40 in paypal so will withdraw this and send to clear this then only have the 0% card to clear.
Think will do new post with new debt totals :eek:Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Morning tfi Friday

No money to be spent today, which is a good thing as soo poor
Spendy day tomorrow, picking up van and stocking up hoss feed and bedding, but filling up van and car so should be able to get good discount and be enough for a few months. Sunday will be a NSD and must be an ebay listing day
Wormed hoss last night, OH held her and I sneaked it in when she was distracted with carrots, to say she was unimpressed is an understatement but should be easy next time.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Good afrernoon, was just about to type morning but realised its nearly 2
A total non MSE day yesterday. Van picked up and £4822 paid out of savings for van. Then of to the feed suppliers. Spent £140 on bedding and feed which OH had funds for. Then spent £136 on hay on the credit card as wanst sure of OH's funds. Then another £78 on credit card to fill fuel tank up. Have checked OH account and he will be able to transfer the £78 straight away and should be enough to transfer te rest by the end of the month. Phew dont want to start building the cards up again. Another debt as it is
We have enough feed and bedding for the hoss now for at least 3 months, hopefully longer so big spend but worth it as got good discounts on bulk buying
Finished the day in style and spent £8 on fish and chips
Today is a lot better, trying to redeem myself  A NSD, have listed 7 items on ebay, 1 item has sold on ebay, updated all spreadsheets, done some washing, sorted out some paperwork and dinner in slow cooker ready for later. Need to get organised as have so many little things that really need doing in house plus all the major things but never seem to have a lot of time. I will get there someday

Good morning

Fun start to the morning with a stroppy horse, bit bargy and threw a few paddies but managed to stay in control and won the battle, was a bit worried but think its just due to her age and being excitable about her field mate already being out.
A spend day today, need to get lunch and post an ebay parcel. Been paid a lump sum for postage so need to make sure the postage covers as sending to Israel, see what happens.
Four of my items which I listed on ebay yesterday already have bids on
Bank being slow to update and not showing true figures yet, can guarantee by tomorrow when all showing will be back in my overdraft and definitely next month will be as way over budget
£20 from paypal waiting to come through which will send to last outstanding credit card to get that cleared.
Plan for today apart from work is to get a better quote for my house insurance.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Didnt make it to post office yesterday so of to do that today.
Have bought lunch in so no spends apart from ebay postage.
I have also bid on an item on ebay so this may wipe out last weeks profits but least not eating into real cash. I may be outbid but not desperate, if havent won then not going to up bid, item not that important.
Shopped around for house insurance, not successful at all, stupid burglary last year means quotes are extortinate
So sticking with current insurer and quote of £415 for combined buildings and contents. £115 more expensive than last year. Luckily have enough in insurance savings to pay for this. Also have enough in there to pay life insurance outright in August. Then will keep saving as have been for car insurance etc next year. Think may need to up savings slightly to cover OH insurance and car tax but will check out budget and see what needs to be saved.
Vet coming friday for second lot of injections, dont have any money to cover this
So will be in overdraft again. If dont get ebay item the profits will cover 3/4 of the cost so not as bad as could be.
End of month payday sees OH redundancy through and new figures for new budget repayments so fresh start to re-start budgets again.:)Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Morning world
Beautiful day out, lovely doing hoss this morning.
She was naughty though and nipped me on way to field so got a quick smack but lots of cuddles afterwards and all good. She is getting there very well with training and doing a bit more everyday.
Moneywise £20 from paypal landed and has been sent to my card, dam interest has been applied so with payment of today total owing is £82.45.
Didnt win on the ebay bid so no pennies spent. The item I was due to post yesterday was too expensive so the transaction cancelled and will re-list again.
Lots of money to find and not sure how. Vet on friday probably £90, horse trainer on 13th probably around £80. Extra fuel to find as OH picking up friend from airport but she should give us some money for this. Got another meeting in our Southampton office on Monday so bit of fuel spent but with mileage end of month expenses should equal £130 ish so this will cover the fuel costs and the vet. So not as bad as could be. More bids on ebay so hoping they go up before Sunday and then that should hopefully go towards the trainer costs. Just need to find some more money now for the overbudget next month

Good morning
Or not so cos been paid and budget this month is bad
Currently looking at £33 shortfall. This includes using my overdraft up to its limit of £850
. Have taken of the hairdresser, horse food and mobile bill which dont need to be paid and come up with the shortfall. I have in my budget £50 misc spends but really need to give this to my sister as she has bought ticket for mum and dad for their birthday and this is what I owe her.
So looking at finances.....
Need to find £50 for misc spends
Need to find £33 to make up shortfall
Need to find £90 for vet
Need to find £80 odd for horse trainer on 13th
Total to find £253
Money coming in....
Notified of cashback payment 1 June should be £31.20
Expenses prob paid mid june around £130
Ebay/surveys in paypal looking around £20
Total coming in £181.20
Shortfall of £71.80
Possibly more from ebay to come. Put figures down as bids at the moment, but 3 days left and hopefully will get more, 10 items on and 7 have bids on already, most ending Sunday so keeping everything crossed. I think I may put the vets bill on the credit card, but least will have enough money to pay that off next month out of budget and will then leave me enough to live on, not a great idea but best I can come up with at the moment.
OH hasnt worked this week which is carp, but due to get redundancy package in next few days, most of that is being transferred to joint account and that should cover his proportion of the bills there for next few months. He is due a payout on some shares too so that will be another couple of joint account months money. Just waiting to see.
Next month looks better, over budget in that over what I get paid but well within my overdraft limit so will be able to reduce that slowly and hopefully by July will be on an even keel, heres hoping

Just had notification that employer is putting salary back up to 100% as if 1 July, currently on 25% paycut. So next month super poor as normal but as of end July will be £300ish a month better off :j
OH also working tomorrow so a few more pennies, so excited as this means will really be able to hammer debt down a lot quicker
