Little hoss is looking very calm and confident about the whole affair, that bodes well for the future. Lovely photos! A good trainer makes all the difference.

You'll catch up on the finances and you'll be sorted out soon enough. Hope you feel better.

Thanks for dropping by, she is getting there slowly, but got lots of time so not rushing :)

Loan has landed today :j Updated signature

Have paid of with loan today:-
£800 ish from overdraft - will not need to use this again so will cancel in few months
£2,856.72 of a CC - NWP - will close this account
£2,361.81 of a CC - NWG - keeping this as emergency card
    £1,457.92 of a CC - BC - OH's emergency card

And have £154.18 in current account left, will transfer £100 to savings and £54 for misc spends - probably use at weekend as need to get horse some more bedding.

Budget updated and will be under what I earn each month so can put some into savings and hopefully be able to start repaying parents back too.

    New financial goals :D
    • Pay of personal loan - check if overpayments or if not save up for lump sum early repayment as another 5 years and want it paid of within 2 - signature shows total including interest
    • Pay of last remaining credit card balance - currently on 0% for 12 months then close this account
    • Pay of parents loan - 0% interest
    • Pay of sofa - 0% interest
    • Have emergency fund for bills etc
    • Pay of mortgage
    To do above
    • Keep to budget and make overpayments to last CC and to savings fund for overpayments to loan - prob set up a new account just for this
    • Ebay, ebay, ebay - still have so much stuff to go on
    • Daily clicks
    • Surveys
    • Lots of comps
    • Lots of NSD
    • Good meal planning
So lots to carry on and think about. Today is a good day, lunch bought in so will be a NSD. OH is working today and next 2 days so some more money coming in.:)

    Morning world :)

Lots of panic at yard last night as one of the horses is poorly and her vets in my opinion is over-reacting but precautions have been taken. My little girl is not near the poorly horse and no contact, my vet isnt concerned, due down in a month anyhows to do follow up vaccinations so not worrying just yet!

Called bank today and 1 credit card, empty and closed :j

One card was paid of, but forgot put the vets bill on it, so £98 outstanding  Council tax out today and have over budgeted so £14 sent to this so £84 left to find and then this card is cleared and will be hidden away for emergencies only :D

Other card is waiting to be cleared but need OH to sort out, so will have to wait to the weekend.

Overdraft is now cleared and have £53 left in account (after bills). Need food today for lunch but have cash in wallet for this, so this money will be plenty to pay for horse bedding at the weekend :)

:j to clearing and closing the credit card!

Everything sounds under control. Long may it last.

We had an infection scare at the yard at the end of last year, meant we couldn't take the horses off the yard at all. Horrible time. All clear now though.

    Morning world its friday :D

Groomed hoss last night she was very good, found some good scratchy points for her and let me brush her a little bit more than before so improvements are being made :)

Nothing money today and no major spends over the weekend, but possibly may go and look at the van, all depends on what work we can get OH for next few weeks.

Vet booked for next set of injections, assuming £98 to be needed so next goal to save for that in a month, might be able to use some of the money already saved for insurances etc, just need to check house insurance renewal and then go from there. Which reminds me need to get a locksmith round to check one of the lock which may need replacing to comply with insurance company request.

    Morning world :D

Lovely weekend, fab weather. Hoss happy managed to do wee bit more training can now touch both her front feet and under her tummy, found a great scratchy spot where if you scratch for too long she nearly falls over :)

Cut grass and did some weeding so garden looks half decent and yesterday saw cousins so free food at parents :)

A very MSE weekend, not a penny spent, all meals from stores, lots of surveys done and a few bits sold and listed on ebay.

£52 already spent today, on a years worth of wormers for horse, put on card, but have enough in paypal from weekend ebay sales to cover this so will pay when transferred across. Determined to only spend on cards if have funds to pay off :j

Will be getting into more debt by the end of the week :( Decided to get the van for OH, taking some money out of house extension fund and putting it towards van, but not using all as want to have some back up so taking on around £6k of finance. A good interest rate though. Going down Wednesday to finalise and then will be back at the weekend to add up new totals :o Going to be nearly £25k i think

OH working again today so not as bad as could be as money is slowly coming in and the debts are coming down, am still so very determined not to owe anyone a penny :)

OH's card now showing as cleared :j 2 down, 1 with £84 on and 1 to go. Now just to tackle the loans.

The rest of the weekends ebay sales have paid so few more parcels to send of today. Quidco have notified me of a payment, not reached bank yet so will wait till that hits and then send to the outstanding card. Lunch bought in so a MSE day :)

You go girl! I can't believe how focused you are on clearing the debt, you seem to have money coming in nearly everyday from extra-curricular activities. I, myself have earned 85p on a survey today :o

Piquant, it is all an illusion  I have £25K of debt and stupid size mortgage! It looks great but really it seems just treading water and not making any inroads as it has done for months, as soon as I clear a bit some stupid expenses come up. I will conquer this debt somehow just seems never ending at the moment. :(

You are an inspiration as you have managed to clear so much :)

Just doing all the boring things like surveys, daily clicks and ebaying which is time consuming, boring but it is bringing in some small pennies.

One day I will be debt free and have savings :D
