In our Southampton office today so a boring drive this morning, OH did hoss this morning save me getting up too early and she was very well behaved :D

Left way before post today so hoping that when I get home loan paperwork will be there so can assess and see what is happening.

Finance wise £3.20 from quidco arrived today and £45 from paypal from surveys have arrived in bank account today. Currently sitting in current account till I decide where to put it. At the moment its reducing my overdraft so less interest charges.

    Morning world :)

A NSD today, spent a few pennies yesterday on breakfast but nothing too bad. No extra money in today. Chased loan application and they are re-sending out paperwork in case it hasnt arrived. Checked the interest rate and it is 6.9% so will go with the scenario of paying the cards of as planned as will save a lot of interest over time :D Now just need to be focused and get the loan paid down asap and build up some savings.

Half day of tomorrow as hairdresser, already budgeted from last month so no extra spends which is good as vet for new hosses vaccinations on the afternoon so the hairdresser money can go towards this.

You really seem to be in control. You know exactly where all the money is and where it's going.

I've been doing some surveys, how boring are they? I keep wanting to quit, but make myself finish them. I can't do more than two without wanting to scream!

Piq thanks, not really in control but a great illusion :rotfl:

Agree about the surveys, sooooo boring but paying of slowly!

A good day today, £5 repaid from friend who bought a bag of feed from me, £10 giftcard found lurking in purse which I have re-gifted for a friends birthday. Loan paperwork through and agreed interest rate so have sent of and hopefully get money in few days. Sofa payment out today so another few pounds of the debt. :)

Best news OH is working today, just temp work £7/hr not fantastic but at the end of the day some money coming in :D

Vet down this afternoon so wont be a NSD.

Nothing planned this weekend so playing with pony and ebaying I think

hi BB, glad your baby moved home ok although the boxing part sounded stressful but at least that is something you can now work on in your own time.

Good to hear OH has work too.

I also have been forcing myself to do surveys this week and have also managed another £5 amzn voucher from SB so I have got a nice total growing there. I have to keep telling myself that all the small bits do add up.

    Have a nice weekend. x

How was playing with horsey? Is she all over the stress of boxing yet? It might not be a bad idea to give her some dinner on the ramp of a box soon, just so she doesn't get hung up about it. Then eventually leading her through it, long before you have to make any journeys.

The Captain just walks onto any box left open on the yard, he associates going in the box with a fun time and food....

Hello, thanks everyone for dropping by :)

Since my girl has only been at new yard just over a week, just wow what a transformation a wee bit of love and some structure has made.

She was fab for the vet, didnt even notice the injections, think too busy trying to get a carrot from me ;)

She is really well settled, comes over to me in the field, starting to know her name when call her and is very calm in her stable, she let me muck out half her stable with her in this morning while she was having brekkie. Still lots of things to do like getting near her legs, leading better, but it will be slow but very pleased so far :D

Hope a intelligent horsemanship guy will come down tomorrow to give us some direction, but if not then 16th so will help me on my way.

Finance wise been a mixed few days!

Vet was £98 that went on cards, but have £60 straight away to pay off.

Saturday OH worked in morning and has 3 days work next week.

Have had details of OH's redundancy package and more than expected so good for 2/3 months. Plus some sale of shares still to come through. And with him working should be fine for a while :D

Spent £146 on grocery shopping yesterday, only had £76 in budget so totally blown, but bought some stuff on offer like washing powder which was 2/3 off and shouldnt need anymore for at least 6 months so will even out ok.

To help pay even more of then have been good and listed 5 items on ebay today, still loads more to list but will get there eventually!

Totally blew the finances this weekend, £120 spent yesterday  But it was good spending, had a guy come down to do some training for the hoss, really good and going to book him in for another session.

Photos here if anyone is bored :)http://www.flickr.com/photos/theonlymadman/sets/72157629986133889/

So today is back on focus. Awaiting loan payment to be paid and then can focus properly on paying of cards and working out where I am, have let it slip over the last few days and getting confused. Have enough in accounts to pay bills so not worried about this just havent made any overpayments and not exactly sure on totals.

Brain is feeling carp today and have start of headache so will have a proper look tomorrow.

Thinking of getting a van for OH as now down to 1 car between us, will need to check finances first, so will wait till loan gone through and cards paid of and re-assess as would mean taking on finance so more debt :( but think this is something that needs to be done.

Ebay has bid on one item already and still 5 days to go, must try and list some more on there this week.
