    It's Friday :j :j

It's seemed like a long week to be honest, but I suppose that's just the getting used to the routine of getting up early, driving for nearly an hour to work and then the busy days. So yes, glad it's the weekend and I can relax slightly!

Me and DH are off to a wedding tomorrow - I am only going to 6 people out of the 100 going and 2 of those are the bride and groom! So it'll be a bit strange; glad I've got DH with me! I'm hoping not to spend too much tomorrow - I'm going to drive us there and back to save on a taxi fare, so I'll just be having diet coke anyway, just have to make it last.

The phone line and internet at home still isn't fixed and not sure when it'll be which is annoying. Hopefully sometime next week, but we shall see.

Right, better go and get myself sorted!

    I know - 2012 has been pretty amazing :j :j

So, back to work. Why do weekends always go so fast? Today's my busiest day so I'm on the go right from the off - at least it'll fly by!

Today will be another NSD for me - I've got everything organised. I'm going to try and be as healthy as possible as well, really need to get back on the healthy eating wagon :o too much of everything at the moment! Oops...

Does your new house need much work/decorating SF? Would you be able to take your current furniture etc or would you need to get a little more. Bet its really exciting loking at/buying stuff for your new home and being able to decorate as you wish. Happy 2012 :D

Well, it doesn't need it immediately but there are rooms that do need updating a bit - the main bedroom needs a new carpet so I'm hoping we can do that without it costing a fortune, and the other smaller bedroom just needs a lick of paint really. The bathroom again could do with updating but it's perfectly adequate for now - we'll have to save up and do things in stages, but I presume that's normal for a house?

I keep looking through magazines and online at furniture and DH keeps telling me off as we've not even got the signed paperwork yet! :o we can take most of our current furniture, just not sure some of it goes, IYSWIM? We got given random bits and pieces when we first moved in together, and most of it isn't to my taste really, so I'd like to start replacing some pieces with ones me and DH chose together :) all in good time though!

Thanks Aamberle, I keep wanting to do this :j :j :D

So, it won't be a NSD today in the SF household - I need petrol on the way home from work and I also need to pop and get some bits and pieces from the supermarket. I've got a meal bubbling away in the slow cooker today - think it's about the 4th time I've used it? - as we've got people coming round for tea tonight - I hope it's okay...!

I quite like Wednesdays as my timetable isn't as heavy, so I might actually be able to sit and just have 5 minutes to myself at some point today, and get to eat my lunch in peace! Small things and all that ;)

I keep daydreaming about living in our new house... got to stop that... :o
