Just ordered 4 books from Mr Ts using clubcard vouchers so it won't cost me a penny
love it!

It's great when you can do that SF. We had promised DS2 a speaker/docking system for his iPod, and managed to get a really good one with Mr T vouchers, so cost us nothing...just as well, as preparing to send him off to Uni cost a fair bit anyway...not to mention his accommodation!!:eek: Haven't heard from him since DH dropped him off last weekend...might wait until the weekend before contacting him...too soon for a mum trying to seem cool and not worried???
Love the look of the holiday in Finland..I had a Finnish pen-pal when I was at school...we never met up...the closest I got was working in Norway one summer! :rotfl:
We are thinking of what we will do for our 30th wedding anniversary next year. Paris or Amsterdam are on the list so far, not sure what we'll end up doing yet...have until next October, so plenty of time!
Right need to get out of the conservatory...getting rather chilly here now. Trying not to put the heating/fire on until October...only 12 days to go!
Enjoy the rest of the week and all the planning you want to do.

Morning SF - hope you are well! X2012 The year I started dealing with my debts.
2017. Lets start this again shall we?

Keiss - I'm sure DS will be fine, but there's no harm in texting
I spoke to my mum most days at uni - and I didn't mind! Some days just a text, others a phone call
I love Paris - I really want DH to take me there (I've been 5 times but not with him!) but we need to be sensible with money for the time being...
Aamberle - hope you're well this morning, I'm fine thank you
Isn't the weather horrible? It's awful todayraining, cold, miserable. brrr. We've got the heating on at home
I hate feeling cold, and have been sat in jumpers and stuff, but getting up in the morning when it's freezing is awful, so I've crumbled and put it on
it's so much better! I just have to be aware of how much it's costing and look at where we can make savings else where so I can justify the cost.

DedicatedDFW - nice to "see" you over here
it is an amazing destination - to stay in the glass igloo for four nights is nearly £1,000 though
 but the log cabins are much, much cheaper and still as nice
I don't know if we can go though, it's definitely something to put on my life list as something to do though!
I'm so so so glad it's Friday :j just today to get through, and then a nice relaxing weekend. I went to Mr S last night as I had a £6 off £30 spend so the food shopping is all doneI also had a sneaky $tarbuck$ on the way home as it's near the Mr S - their chai tea lattes are so so good
Today is going to be NSD 12 for me - I've bought some left off veg chilli in for my lunch plus some fruit, and I don't need petrol as I got that yesterdaynot sure if I'm going to meet my target for this month, but that just means I've got to try extra hard next month!
I don't think I'm going to meet my target of 200 NSDs in the year like I did last year, but we shall see.
Have a good day everyone!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Ooh SF you've given me a good idea with that NSD challenge
the thing i get myself confused with is: - i have to pay for public transport each day i work (it is cheaper this way than paying once a week or once a month) i also have DD's - mortgage, phone bill etc. coming out on various days in the month. Would you count NSDs as a day where even if these things happen nothing else is spent ? I also food shop once a week which is pretty essential as is putting petrol in the car so i am just never sure what to count...
Well Done on all those posts phew! :TCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
DFW - I normally count everyday where I don't spend anything at all - our DDs come out on the same day of the month so that's a spendy day always accounted for. However, in your case, would you be able to get to work without the bus? If not, then it is a nessecity spend and wouldn't bother including this on a NSD, if that makes sense? After all, we all need to get to work!
I like the challenge of setting myself 200 NSDs for the year, then just saying each month how many roughly it is, as an average. Not done so well this year, but I am determined to do it again next year and succeed!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
