blackberry bridge is the feature your referring to where you can sync it to your blackberry

but you can thether it to any phone not just blackberry and there is an android beta about to download for it

I got the playbook for xmas (using it now :j) and love it. Mind i am a BB avid fan anyway.

Bridging it with my Blackberry was so easy and I love I have internet wherever I go and am not limited to free wifi places.

I'd say definitely worth it! Especially if you have a BB phone. There is talk of the price going back up, so I don't think it will drop any further.

No.




Although it has no native email or calendar app, you can still use the web interfaces of things like Gmail / Google Calendar - the device can do email, just through the browser rather than an app.

EDIT - You can also load Android apps using the OS2 beta (although not all of them).

I don't think you'll have any luck returning the item - it sounds like buyers remorse, through lack of research.

I would imagine it's less do to with not "liking" the product, more to do with not knowing much about it.

Most staff will of used iOS and Android before, whereas very few will have used QNX for any more than 5 minutes...

If you feel my factual statement is an attack, perhaps its time to come out of that rock you've been living under. Or better yet, why not start quoting legislation as the rest of us do so that posters know you're not just speaking rubbish?

All the regular posters of this board know you have yet to provide any legislation to back up any "advice" you have given. And until you are able to back your posts up with actual legislation, I'm afraid we'll keep disregarding your posts as opinion instead of fact. Especially since you seem to disregard everyone else's posts in the same manner even if legislation is provided proving you wrong.

The reason we keep drawing attention to you not backing up your "theory" is because although we know how ridiculous your posts can be, new users may not.

As for insulting and attacking other posters......yes because you'd never do such a thing.....would you flyboy? Especially not a brand spanking new poster......would you? Hmmm me thinks flyboy needs to consider that his own actions may be worse than the person he accused of "insulting" and "attacking" and that perhaps he should seek to make himself nicer before criticising others. The principle of carrying out work with reasonable care and skill is enshrined in the Supply of Goods Act Services Act 1982, which is a statute that applies where a contract where the contract includes the transfer of goods. However, it does not apply to contracts only involving the sale of goods (s.1(2)(a)). Contracts formed when you buy something from a shop are almost exclusively for the sale of goods, and the situation in this thread certainly is. As such in this situation there is no implied or explicit contractual term that would require the sales assistant in this case to positively provide information as you suggest.
