I've still got a fair bit of ironing to do but I'm over halfway.
It's very windy tonight. Hope the wheelie bins don't blow away.

    well...

cat tray emptied and cleaned and refilled
Graze box cancelled - treat but exOH's imminent job loss (assuming money will stop) means I need to cut corners - that's one I can safely cut...
all bins emptied; wheelie bin filled and out
car headlight has gone - fingers crossed I can do the replacement myself as it's drivers side - job for tomorrow to go and buy one - actually *rubs chin* if I can get the old one out to take it to the very nice gentleman down the car spares place (there's a reason I frequent the car spares place;) - but don't hold your breath I have been visiting there since I was 18 :rotfl:) I can get the new one in...

ETA AND DO READ THIS PLEASE, ALL...

Bonnie - 2 posts down! and others - we always get new flyers in Jan (we call it the resolution effect - well we would call it that had we named it) and the thread starts SHIFTING rapidly so...(please)

limit the chatter to the weekend, please (and I post this in full admission that I am a chatterer...) to comply with MSE/board guide rules
if you haven't much (significant) to post why not do an ETA on a previous post, especially if there haven't been too many posts since IYSWIM
If you have a question about an acronym/abbreviation check post 1/2 and Toot's welcome (see link in post 1/2) first - ALL the abbreviations are there; honestly...
    (ETA=Edited To Add)
But please - MOST IMPORTANT - do not feel you have to read everyone else's posts - you don't. We used to have a poster called Kassey (hello if you're there) who merely posted that she'd done the lists! And that's the point, really - to motivate you to do something to make, and keep, your home homely, tidy and beautiful - just like you! You deserve a beautiful home which is a haven of peace and tranquility. I hope that's what you acheive, and you will if you stay!

PRIORITY TO DO - renew photo driving licence and change name as they are fining people 1000 pounds !!! oops

Not quite the same but a bit similar - don't forget to check passports - some countries require passports to have 6 months before expiry date- prior to travelling.

  • Blimey thread moving soooo fast, just skim read I'm afraid..

Was in middle of post yesterday then battery went, I was so tired I just went to bed :o

New job going ok but very very busy and working longer hours than I thought; will have to see if this is a good thing to do long-term or if company is pushing it... grateful for job but scary what you seem to have to do to keep it... anyway I like the work just so tiring so can't see my flying until weekend and then maybe only fluttering.

Love, hugs, congrats, sticks and spoons to all.

    zzzzzzzzzzz

    Goodnight
    BBxx

Just thought I'd let you all know that myself, DD1 and DD2 have spent ALL evening decluttering their bedroom! Yes it truely is THAT bad and we haven't finished yet!!:( So far we have 2 black sacks of rubbish and 1 of recycleable rubbish :o
They are now arguing over who's sleeping with me tonight as only one bed in their room is clear of piles of junk

The wind's picked up again here so I'll be praying that it doesn't get so bad that it rips out next doors knackered fence. Those fence panels are a VERY sore point :mad: I'm still waiting for them to replace them after their dogs chewed huge holes in them. One of my dogs got through (both mine have gone now :A), theirs attacked him and left me with a £600 vet bill!!
When I asked what she was doing about the fence panels (it is her fence and the panels were put in by her dad) she said we could go halves!!:eek::mad::mad:
    As I say sore point

WM is on and we're off to bed, late one for us just hope we wake up in the morning :o

    -
[/FONT][STRIKE]Wash the dishes from last night/this morning, as well as new canisters for tea/sugar/coffee[/STRIKE][FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] - Didn't get the canisters done, but did the rest.
    - Clean muffin maker and make room in the cupboard for it
    -
[/FONT][STRIKE]Take recycling out[/STRIKE][FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] - other half is doing this and putting the bins out for collection in the morning :)
    - Make apple crumbles to use up apples before they go off
    -
    [/FONT][STRIKE]Put a washload on[/STRIKE]

Also made dinner and made a small meal to take to work for my lunch tomorrow. Bonus points for that one as it used up the eggs, mushrooms and some of the pepper that really needed using by today ;)

So, not a greatly productive evening, but that's what happens when I've been up since half 6 on very little sleep and done a shift at work :rotfl:

Hoping tomorrow goes a little better, and I'm hoping I get into a routine eventually and these things will get done quickly without second thought...
