A couple of days ago, I went for a walk with LO and OH - we left the house before 5pm and when we got home it was already dark. I then realised it was the first* time I'd been outside in the dark since LO was born!

And for the first time ever, I'm not liking the bright mornings either... It was finally getting dark enough in the mornings for LO to sleep for a bit longer - and now it's bright again! I'd like BST back please.

Morning ladies, early one for me - been up since 4  don't know what's up with him but I don't think I can put it down to teeth as he's all smiles and ready to play.

I couldn't find a coat at sainsburys, got a hat and mittens set for him though. I looked at the fleecy sleep suits too sunshine but at the moment he seems warm enough in vest-normal sleep suit-sleeping bag (2,5tog)

I don't mind the dark evenings, think its cosy! But I rarely have to go out in the evenings - even before George - as I work at home, used to hate being stuck at the office when it got dark early.

Argh I just yawned and the little beggar laughed at me!

My little scamp has just woke up, fairly standard for him though. He is just roaming around our bedroom floor at the mo.

Hope George is napping now? Then maybe you can get a quick nap!

Think I am going to go back to sainsburys and get a couple of those fleecy sleepsuits, if we get a winter like last year I think he will need them

Speaking of which, need to go and put our heating on as its freezing! X

Happy Halloween sammie! You're not sad at all, I can't wait to take George when he's a bit older. Must admit though, we haven't got him anything for this year - bit broke and I'd rather get him some nice new pjs and outfit at Christmas. I read somewhere about someone's family tradition where on Xmas eve the whole family gets new pjs to wear and watches a Xmas movie together. I am soooo doing that! Totally over excited for Xmas if you can't tell!

Weather is grim here, raining, windy and grey. Need to get to the post office to post mums pressie but might leave it til later/tomorrow.

We do that here!! I buy the boys some cosy pj's from matalan and we watch The Polar Express. :D
I love the build up to Christmas but nothing beats sitting down together on Christmas Eve and watching a DVD with a hot chocolate knowing everything is ready for the next day :)

  • Hello all

    Happy Halloween!! :)

Will post a pic of Aiden in his little outfit later.

We already have Aidens christmas PJ's, courtesy of my mum, these ones:

    http://www.mothercare.com/Mothercare-Unisex-Christmas-Pyjamas-Set-%E2%80%93-2-pack/LW5485,default,pd.html?cm_sp=ProductFeatures-_-Category%2520landing-_-Mothercare%2520Unisex%2520Christmas%2520Pyjamas%2520Set%2520%25E2%2580%2593%25202%2520pack

Just got back from town, popped into Sainsburys again but nothing new in. Decided against the fleecy sleepsuit as it didn't feel too snug. Went into asda afterwards and they had some which felt better and were only £7, so even with the 25% off at Sainsburys it was still cheaper.

Got my first full pay from work today :j going to try and be careful not to spend too much though.

Sunshine - cute pj's for Christmas!! Can't wait to see Aiden dressed up too. :D is it full pay from work because you go back soon and you get paid in advance? I don't understand all the maternity pay lark!!

Those are so cute sunshine! I might have to take a trip to mothercare...;)

I'm confused - I though you didn't go back to work for another week or so yet? Or am I completely wrong?!

George isn't himself this afternoon, not half as smiley as usual. Got to wait in for a tesco shop then I think I'll get him wrapped up and go for a walk. Change of scenery usually helps a bit.
