Thank you for posting all the beautiful pictures, such lovely babies!

Thank you for posting the tesco cloth nappy link gilly, i had no idea they sold them. Have you seen wee notions website? You can get custom made nappies which are lush - i am totally addicted!

I def recommend reading the gill rapely blw book when thinking about weaning katie, even if you decide to go purees its an interesting read.
Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck :)

Yes, I have 1 weenotions! I love it, such a good fit too. I daren't look though or I'll be out on my ear

Yes the Starburst print are £7.49 at the moment at Tesco, only certain stores have them, bargain though.

We're BLW all the way. Started with purees, I know with #2 I'll not even entertain them :)

Who was it was jealous my girl only pooed twice a week?! Just had Tuesday's scheduled poonami... three nappies full of it (thank God the nappy delivery had just come with the size 3 ones cos size 2 would have exploded under the strain). I'd much rather she pooed in bite size installments than these epics! I have utterly no idea where she stores it all - they go on FOREVER!

:rotfl:I know this is SO not funny when it happens to you, but it did make me laugh out loud! Had a pretty massive poo here too today - LO had been saving it up since Saturday night. Like you I was wondering where she'd been storing it all. She demanded milk immediately afterwards though :o

Weaning sounds very exciting, but very daunting - I have absolutely no idea about any of it. Still got a few months but I best get to the library! Any recommended books? I quite like the sound of baby led weaning but I need to do a lot more research I think.
    Delurks for a moment...
Even though I've still got a whole trimester to go before I've even got a baby I've started reading baby books. :D

I am busy with this one whch seems quite good: Weaning Made Easy by Rana Conway (it seems a good overall view, and she does cover baby led weaning but also the traditional methods). I've also read (and finished) a BLW only book which was also a good read: Baby-led weaning : helping your baby love good food by Gill Rapley.

...returns to lurking and the pregnancy thread...

Pops back briefly to ask if any of you lovely ladies tried hypnobirthing? I'm considering getting a book or CD on it but some advice from someone who's been there is invaluable :)

I dont think I've seen that one yet. I still think Noah is tiny but it's not until you see a newborn that I realise he's getting a big man :o
I'm only 27 I reckon I can squeeze a few more kids in (or out!!) before I'm too old!! :D

I just typed the advert in on you tube and I know what one you mean now sunshine I like that advert too. Time goes so quick when baby is here I can't believe I have started weaning already, I'm sure he will be crawling before I know it :o
I also can't believe my eldest will be 9 in October  he will be flying the best soon!! ;)
