Just checked the box Sammie and its 78 in a box so its 156 all together.

We prefer pampers too, and our nursery only use pampers which is good.

Well, tonight Aiden ate his first full portion of food. It was quite a small portion - about 2 ice cubes if that - but he finished it! He loved it, so I am glad I did alot of carrot and swede for the freezer. Did try him with the pear for pud but he only had 2 spoons. Also gave him a strawberry to suck on but he chased it round the tray and its now all over his white top
Just been reading the Annabel Karmel book and theres some good recipes in there for when he is a bit bigger.

Got our tea in the oven. Aiden has just fallen asleep on OH and he hasn't yet had his bedtime bottle - so will have to wake him shortly.

Sammie - we have a dishwasher, its only a slimline but fits plenty in. Just don't make the mistake of putting baby bottles in like I did - they turn a weird orange colour and I had to buy 4 new ones!! I do love it for all the tea stuff though, and its been great for washing the steamer/blender for Aidens meals.

    Have a good evening all :) x

    Hey ladies,

I've loved looking at all your beautiful baby pics, its so nice to put a little face to all the stories that we share!

My friend from work had her baby this morning, on her due date! She had a 3 hour labour, no pain relief or stitches needed and was home after 6 hours! Lucky girl, I was jealous of people getting to go home after 4 weeks on the NICU, never mind only 6 spending 6 hours in the hospital! Spoke to her on the phone, she is feeling fine and they are calling their little girl Annabelle! Will be nice for her and Poppy to grow up together! Going round at the weekend for cuddle!

Hope everybody has had a lovely day, been glorious weather here today.
    xx

Ahhh :) thats nice news. One of our friends had her baby boy last weekend. She was in labour for about 2 hours, 1 hour pushing....I was very jealous lol. No stitches for her either, lucky moo! Annabelle is a lovely name :)

Its always lovely to hear about people you know having babies, especially because we know how fantastic and life changing they are! My friends was really worrying about the birth and pain, so I'm thrilled (and a little jealous!) that she had a positive experience!

Evening ladies :) love all the pics!! I'll try and get one of my monkey up later

Weaning sounds very exciting, but very daunting - I have absolutely no idea about any of it. Still got a few months but I best get to the library! Any recommended books? I quite like the sound of baby led weaning but I need to do a lot more research I think.

We've had a quiet day, was feeling down earlier and ended up eating half a pack of biscuits :o feel better for it though! Just feeding the monster then going to find a cottage to book for a weeks holiday next may for our anniversary :)

With nappies - we used Pampers originally (one of the few to do micro sized), then switched to Tesco own make for a while before we started to just get the kiddicare boxes - find them as good as any of the others we've tried - and the lazy factor of them getting delivered is pretty handy too (when kiddicare opens locally we won't even have to do that and pay the delivery). Probably doesn't work out that much cheaper when you're buying them on supermarket special offers but the rest of the time we find it does.

My much loathed cousin is pregnant again - trouble is she wants to name the baby the same thing our dog's called - and she's the sort who'll kick off a right stink about the dog having the same name (despite the fact the dog's had it years).

Urghh morning sickness, its hard to imagine this time last year I was ill in bed with! I have never felt so poorly in my life so I really sympathise with ladies who are suffering. The smell of bleach in the toilet is still enough to make me retch!
